The developers say that they have been listening to the end users, and listening they actually did. The new UI is more friendly. I did not have the chance to try neither the landscape mode nor using the app for long period, but initially everything looks promising. I would recommend adding page flipping animation. If the app is running on more than a device, the page should sync automatically, or propose to sync.
