Rob Lupine: Very poor

David Havers: Love it,

Stuart Denham: Pointless

Michael Papangelou: BBC Store app still not working Still does not load on Oneplus 3 running Android 6.0.1 . If you can not fix the problem , how about a refund on the content that I purchased from the BBC store. It would be nice to know if this problem is on the app developers radar! 12 Dec 16 Update. Still not working. Screen goes black then exits app. 14 Dec 16 Update. I manually set Permissions for this app and it now works. App did not request permission s be granted when initially installed.

P Gillard: The small things let it down - The content is great Took two goes to log in, layout was stretched, the content streaming quality selection wouldn't work and complained when tried to display on my TV. Much better off watching the fine collection of programming on IPlayer

Rod McLauchlan: Pretty poor Clunky and no way to get back to the store once you have purchased something other than unistalling the app and starting all over. Amazing!!! Apparently updated and now I can't get into the app at all. Come on BBC - Netflix and Amazon can manage stores for videos that work, surely you can...

Steve Flitton: Black bars I've had more success than other users but playback is spoilt by two black bars, one at the top and one at the bottom. This obscures almost half the viewing area. Cannot remove it. Most annoying.

Lee Rolison: Amateurish at best Foolishly I ignored the other reviews, downloaded the app and bought an episode of Planet Earth to watch. If you've read the other reviews you've probably anticipated that I haven't yet watched my downloaded show. In fact downloaded is the wrong word, the app couldn't even manage that! This really is a poor attempt by the BBC. The whole feel is amateurish and it really should be pulled from the Play store until someone is willing to put some time and effort into the project.

Frank S: Essential buttons only partly accessible The buttons needed to download, and to delete downloads, are almost completely covered by the Android System Bar at the bottom of the screen. This means that downloading, and and deleting downloads, was a bit hit and miss. I installed GMD Full Screen but, even though this hid the System Bar, the required buttons are still mostly covered (the rest of the screen moved down a bit). Xperia Z2 Tablet with latest updates.

Daryl Ball: Finally seems to work!! With so many great shows now available its ridiculous that this app didnt work for so long!! Ive spent a lot of money on stuff I couldnt even watch. Now it finally seems to be working. I like the Chromecast feature too. Lets hope it remains working...

Mark Nuttall: A good idea It's ok, but you can't see full screen, so at least 10% of the picture is obscured by tool bars. Also it doesn't 'remember' where you are, so if you leave a story, you spend time trying to find your place. Also you can't shop for items from the device itself! Could be so much better

Colin Makepeace: Useless Used to work but now all I get is a spinning blue circle. It's been like this for a month. Therefore I cannot watch my purchased shows via my chromecast. This needs fixed promptly. Even after this latest update 31/10/2016 it's still not working absolutely no change. This app is not fit for purpose

Jon Skinner: So there you are: the BBC Store is closing in November. Can't say I'm surprised. I just wonder the app is still available for download. Just hope those of us who were daft enough to buy stuff from them will get a refund, but I have my doubts.

Paul Reid: Here's the fix To fix the spinning blue circle issue. Uninstall, then go Play Store and reinstall the app. Go to Android Settings / Apps, click on BBC Store and click Clear Cache and Clear Data. The app should now work for you when you launch it.

David French: Useless App crashes evetytime I try and open it. Glad I didn't have to pay for it. Come on BBC sort it out! Contacted bbc store directly about this on 1/11/16. They have given up on my issue. Waste of time and money buying anything from them if you can only watch via a browser.

John Russell: You may need to manually set permissions App on my Lenovo 10" tablet stopped working after Android system updated, would not complete login. Deleted App and reinstalled it. App still would not let me login. Went to App settings in Android, selected BBC Store app, and manually set permissions for it to access memory etc. Now works fine and I can log in. Android should ask for you to accept these permissions when you first use App and automatically set them. Not sure if an Android or BBC App problem.

Andrew Baron: It's great now it's working again on my Samsung S7 edge ! The app has been failing for months but following today's update it now finally works. Had to clear cache and app data in application manager first but now it's working I am happy to give it 5 stars again

Andrew Tremas: PotD Well it's working ok for me, and once Chromecast support was added, I was very happy. I did get a 25% off code which said invalid when I tried to use it, but some great service from the help people got that credited. I realise some are having issues, but for me, I'm loving it now.

Kenny Maclean: Fix for spinning circle... Like everyone else, I was also getting a spinning blue circle with nothing else happening. I have uninstalled the app and then reinstalled in, and have now been able to sign in on both my HTC M7 and galaxy tab S2.

Karl M: Won't play Have made numerous purchases but the android app seems to refuse to play. The iplayer works fine with the same titles.

Peter Humphrey: Great app, works well on chromecast, and all of my devices. Some have said about crashes, and spinning circles. I messed around with some otherness and too had this problem. There is an easy solution though. Go to settings, apps, BBC store, storage, clear all data. You will have to enter login details again, but will probably work afterwards, give it a go.

Matt Richards: Broken! Looks like it's been rolled back to the previous version, which works. Hurrah! However, I'm sticking with 3 stars as it took so long for the devs to fix and I don't have confidence in it continuing to work.

Gary Webster: What rubbish What's the point of this app if it can't do the things it claims to. Chrome cast doesn't work. Can't watch on tv using hdmi, and often crashes when logging in. Rubbish.

Richard Wells: A pity, this used to work but doesn't now This won't run on my device so I can't play my purchased content via Chromecast. Hope I can review a fixed version soon!

Imogen Chow: Crashes so you lose your purchases Terrible app. Crashes and often can't even open properly. If it does work, needs Internet to verify purchase. Obviously this means you can't use it on an airplane.

Matt Holmes: Does not work at all 23/12/16 Refund for purchased content please. Boring me now, yawn

chris smith: Was great Broken and no longer works at all. Now have to watch all my programmes via a browser. Update on 31st October has not fixed it๐Ÿ˜ญ

Pauly J: Endless blue circle. Unable to watch anything I've purchased. Downloads failed and now won't even stream. Feel like I've wasted my money.

David Chamings: Completely useless. Since a supposed upgrade all I get is a spinning circle. Best to stick to Amazon. BBC is just a bunch of amateurs.

John Holbrook: Spinning Blue Circle I'm getting tired of this, BBC. Apps that previously worked fine and then you improve them until they break. This is another victim of a shoddy update. Do you do any checks before you release them?

Inkey: Truly terrible Quite simply, it doesn't work. Now I've lost the programmes I purchased. How do I get a refund?

Mark Antony Owen: It's hard to imagine how this app could be made worse. By not launching at all, perhaps? I've spent quite a bit in the BBC Store. Were it not for the ability to access that content via BBC iPlayer, it would've been money wasted. Truly, this ranks up there with some of the very worst app development I've ever encountered.

Neil Colebeck: No recall of last played point A re-install sorted the endless blue spinning circle, no good reason why though. Still no recall of last played point of your programme though

Robert Stephens: I have to connect to the internet to even get the Google App to work, otherwise the welcome page just freezes, even though one of the large icons is telling me I can watch programs offline. It does show I have 5 downloaded programs but I can't access them. Whatever I press, NOTHING! Once I do connect to the internet and try to watch any of my 5 programs, I get an error message 'We're sorry, there appears to be a problem..etc.'. This is very disappointing and not the first time I have had to contact BBC Store Help.. Last time My app had frozen (spinning blue circle forever!) and I had to uninstall and re-install the App as it would not load. Now I am unable to watch my programs which HAVE been downloaded offline! Also, even if I do connect to the internet I can't watch them. I work offshore and the whole point of my paying for these programs is so I can watch OFFLINE. Terrible app! I doubt very much I will ever be offered a refund even though I can't watch the programs I have paid for where I want to watch them (i.e. offshore, not at home).

PurpleGreen Cake: Can't even open it any more. Just get an error message.

linzardo x: Complete rubbish On my tablet the store app only stays landscape in one position. You can only cast with chromecast. So i thought i would connect my tablet to my tv with its cable and guess what bbc store doesnt play if a tv cable connected ! No wonder so many dont pay the tv licence and or stream illegal content with restrictions like this on material i have paid for. Uninstalled once i watched the series i ordered.

Claire Louise Jones: Disappointed First time it worked. However since November have not been able to play my purchases via Smart View onto TV very frustrating

Michael Smith: Doesn't work It fails to load on Android 7 or 7.1 at time of writing. I've asked for a full refund on my purchases. BBC failure at it's highest

Andy Elliott: Hopeless Can't buy anything in app, and purchases should be available to play back on iPlayer across all platforms.

Tim Wye: Broken Endless spinning blue circle of doom. Pretty poor show from the Beeb, to be honest
