Or maybe you’re ecstatic about entertainment, you’re wild about the weather, completely fanatical about finance but you’re really tired of technology.
The new BBC+ app lets you customise the categories so we only send you the bits of the vast store of content and contributors available through the BBC that you’ve shown an interest in.

Somuj Ali: News world wide This gives you all the right & wrong information, that happens around the world...?

John Tiplady: Like the simplicity A well presented summary of new weather and interests

ray head: BBC+ Excellent!!!

Marco Mendonca: very nice give me newd

David Everitt: Not worth the effort Having promised so much to tailor the news to me..guess what - rubbish I don't need, football and sport I don't care about the only items on the main screen. uninstall

John Macleod: Bbc+ Stuff and nonsense that when you tap to update this just does not happen as there is news from days past and little present a bit like life.

Damien Freeman: No different from bbc news app Just more colorful than the bbc news app. Gives the same info and not very useful

Tim Box: Was ok until it started asking me to log in. If you are going to insist I sign in the out would help if there sign in worked

Ben Bazzard: Not updating Most recent news is from September. Keeps saying error updating.

Jim R: Pointless Far inferior to the standalone app, which I fear the bbc will drop eventually in favour of this.

James Pask: Never updates Same stories for last few days despite getting notifications that it's been updated during the day. Uninstalling.

John Harness: Useful? Doesn't seem to do anything useful, forgets login info.

Alex Burchell: How could this app actually be any worse? Another non-triumph for the BBC. Downloaded it to replace BBC News app. Shouldn't have bothered. It just directs you to the relevant BBC Web page, which makes it slower and clumsier than the News app. You can select your favourite news genres, but can you customise the order? No. There's no weather integration at all other than the home page.... unless you download the BBC weather app. In short, this app is devoid of its own content, and directs you (slowly) to where the content actually is. Pointless.

Nick Holmes: I don't understand how this differs from the customisable BBC Homepage they have been pushing for years - at least with that your can scroll down through all the stories quickly. It also seems to have chomped at my battery usage far more than a browser would for no obvious benefit. It could have been so much more

Paul Everist: Jack of all trades, master of none This seems to be a good idea, giving you tailored content from across the BBC, but it is far less useful than you would imagine. For instance, if you want news, go to the news app, so you don't have to wade through lots of other content. I am uninstalled it today and will stick with BBC's excellent standalone apps.

Scott Laing: Loved it until... I like the idea, and I don't mind logging in to access the content - it's the nature of it. I do feel like I should have the option to see have the content list in a compact style like the BBC News app, but it's tolerable. The big downer is that news articles take me into WebViews, and show me the content as if on the website. Why not show it natively like in the BBC News app?? Disappointing.

Jonathan G: Too simple and lacking content. It's trying to be like Google Now. It feels too basic, and not enough actual news. Then it links to the mobile web version of bbc news rather than the nicer presentation of the bbc news/sport apps. It feels half finished and rushed to push out. Maybe in a year this app will be where you'd come to expect from the bbc.

Richard Austin: Not worth the space Doesn't give much advance over the BBC News app, which you can also customise. I'm not a big fan of the screen being dominated by a few pictures rather than text. But we are all different.

Robert Macrowan: Well done The BBC were a bit slow to get on board with new technology but seen to have done a good job with this new app. All the news and information you could possibly want all in one place and fully customisable. UI seems to be well thought out and app working well on my Lenovo tablet and lg4 phone.

David McClune: Oh dear Contemporary tiled design does not equate to good. Far too much wasted space resulting in inadequate repeated content. I want to consume information, not admire some lovely photographs. Another win for firm over function.

David Bell: Work in progress? OK. Looks lovely. Smooth and easy to operate. But....it's simply a different way to access stuff I already have access to via the BBC mobile page. Why?

Daniel Waterhouse: Pointless It's just a different version of the news app. News stories aren't even native they open in a web page so the COOKIE warning pops up.

Rik Sidebottom: Nice idea needs one big change Great app, saves time. Just need to be able to order the interests so they are in your own order not how the app orders them.

David Bulbeck: Pointless It... just... why? The BBC news app is a million times better. This BBC+ app adds nothing but removes everything except 4 headlines. Why? What is meant to give? Deleted.

: Too much swiping & scrolling The display needs to be MUCH more compact with smaller images to headline stories. As it is, there is far too much swiping & scrolling to peruse headlines which requires too much effort, I want to see at least 6 stories per screenfull, not one.

Craig Smith: Nice idea but needs work Would be good it it didn't load a web page giving me cookie warnings. Seems a very lazy way to do it. I'll stick with the sperate news and sports apps for now.

Julie Brandon: Pretty but a bit pointless Well made and slick. Feels like an app designed to fill a hole that wasn't really there. Poor use of space: more text and smaller pictures please.

Stephen Cornish: App is solid. Content ok. But it feels largely pointless The idea for this app probably sounded great in a meeting room but in practice it doesn't deliver. If you have no other bbc app, then this app would be great to see what's on across the BBC but if you have news, sport and iplayer apps, this app just reproduces them all in less spectacular fashion. The app is solidly built but the only use i can find for it is to get an idea of what's going on with the areas of bbc that don't get much coverage. Pointless though to have news, tv, sport and radio in this app.

Roslyn Lamb: I've already got the news App. Nothing new in this News App slightly differently presented. Nothing extra, just using up space on my device. Waste of time

Shubhayu Chakraborty: Really good stuff Good to see all the BBC feeds slowly converging into a single place. One stop shop for all the necessary news and updates. This app has a lot of possibilities. A little more personalization and a little less of articles opening in web pages can make this awesome! Looking forward to more features and updates.

Pierre Thomain: Nice speed bump on welcome screen Can't see anything without logging in first, completely ignoring rule #1 of UX. Can't really be bothered to register so uninstalling.

Nick Blake: Like it, but... Why does the at a glance not show me the top stories from my selected sections? I don't want all the forced terrorists, knife attacks, raping stories on my phone.

Sandipan Chowdhury: Love the app Really nice app, total control of what I want to see. One stop shop for all BBC content

Graham Nye: A poor version of the news app that wastes large amounts of screen space and only works in portrait mode, overriding my landscape setting.

: No landscape view This app is potentially very good, however, its portrait only. This means that it is not user friendly on tablet.

Josh Summers: Clever app Combines a few bbc apps and seems to offer tailored content based on what I like, good for when you only have a few seconds to catch up on things

Andrew Gray: Great app, very slick and good content. The right level of info and links. As it develops it will become even more useful. Great step forward in personalisation. I like the push feature useful but not intrusive.

Tony Etherington: What's The Point? Hardly any different from the BBC News App and nothing like as good. Waste of space.

Mike Gayler: An embarrassment to the BBC I think the idea of this app is to be a regular briefing on events. It fails. You would think by signing in it would pull in your other BBC content - it doesn't. There's no weather, no snappy headlines, no originality and no podcasts that you've subscribed to. The interface is poor- no compact tiles as seen in the news app, and it links out of the app all the time. With all the resources to the BBC this is a disgrace. Uninstalled.

Mark Silverthorne: Nice App. Perfect to look through when you've got a few minutes to spare. Get an error when trying to play a video in an article though.
