How to setup Universal Remote Wi-Fi/IR MyAV apk for android
- For Android 4.0 or higher:Please to Settings, look down to Security, and select Unknown sources. Choosing this choice will enable to install apps download from the internet.
- For devices running on lower Android 4.0:
Please go to Settings - open the Applications option, and select Unknown sources, click OK on the popup alert.

This is a free 7 day trial of the main MyAV Pro app.No programming required, no set-up codes, no fuss. Download, connect and control.
IP Control for A/V Receivers, Blu-Ray Players, Televisions, Set-Top Boxes, Media Streamers.
Alternative app for Onkyo, Yamaha, Denon, Marantz, LG,Arcam, Anthem (Beta) , Oppo, Roku, NowTV, XBMC, Philips, Panasonic, Pioneer, Sony, Sharp, Samsung, Panasonic,Dreambox, Sky+HD, DirectTV, Virgin Media, WDTV, Humax (3rd party firmware).

Your devices must be connected to the same router/hub as your Android tablet/phone via for this app to work. You need to have a good Wi-Fi signal and multicasting/uPnP must also be enabled on your router/network. Please make sure all your devices have the latest firmware.

Its nice on my Acer A500, but it unuseable on my Samsung S3. Everything is to small and landscape mode only as buttons are not fully shown in poratrait mode on S3. In general the interface is made to mimic a normal remote control. If they would just focus on a better Anrdoid interface the app would be better. Several updates have been releaded since my last review. Despite alleged support it cannot see my Oppo BDP103. The DLNA support seems better -sort of- on my Pioneer i can browse my serviio server fine but when trying to playback a ripped CD it stops after every track. Waking the tablet up and therefore presumably the app too, it progresses to the next track. The trial version of this app worked great on my Home theater equipment. I purchased the Pro version of the app and nothing worked. None of the button icons did anything on the system. Thx<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Cecil Taylor:</span> Try before you buy Enabled me control my Humax HDR when it occasionally stopped responding to the remote. You do need to install custom software and and a wifi dongle to make it work with the Humax. Latest version allows you set different room profiles and select which device(s) you want control.
