Sepero P: I love this editor, but sadly I must go back to Jota. Ted lacks the ability to backup on autosave, and it lacks the ability to prevent multiple instances from running. I lost a large amount of data when 2 instances of the program were running with the same document open. I hope I can return to Ted in the future...

Nathan Gove: Good but slow It seems well designed, but there's a lot of lag on my old HTC wildfire S, more than I've seen with other progs.

Fisia Pramandita: Best of the Best ,most small,n easy IT Replace stupid NOTE, You dont wanna any long to open editor.... That can only hold 10 LINE texts and dosen of commercial ads. If you do, you ll use qu*c*office ! Words, or etc.

Andrew King: Basic but brilliant. A good, lightweight text editor without any unnecessary "bells and whistles". The app's simple design and spartan feature-set is particularly well-suited to small screens, such as those of smartphones and phablets. The app is open-source, ad-free, and permission-lite, as described.

N/A: Good except for menu cluttering Good except that it adds unnecessary items to the context menu in firefox that I can't get rid of

Kamod Kumar Jha: Good one Its good editor I liked it its better than other, I am giving this comment on just one use.

K IP: Perfect text editor I was looking for a lightweight text editor that has a search function within the file, and this is the best I have tried. Other apps imported the text file into their own directory and do not save it where it was originally stored. This app edits the actual file either in my internal storage or external card, which is what I needed. Other functions I like are that it highlights the line where the cursor is, has undo, and the prompt when you press back. I won't change a thing about this app.

Yohannes Tampubolon: You want a text editor or notepad? This is it. My single wish is that for an app like this can handle large files with ease.

Martin Kužela: I would like to be automaticaly focused into search dialog when I click on search icon. Otherwise i am typing into text.

Randy Miller: probably user error but a text editor that fails to save seems pretty useless. "Unable to save tmp file" It also fails to save the object file.

David paul sundar rajan: Though a simple one it's so wonderful GOD bless you brother Xaviour. It is really excellent in editing my files in Samsung galaxy Note 2 .If you could add some features like more encodings in jota editor and fonts and styles it will be very much useful.

Jacob David C. Cunningham: There isn't a tab button? Oh my god... ha-ha, would be cool to have one just above the keypad input, could set the indent spaces. Looks like other text editors carry over the indentation from previous line. Also can't create new folders only read.

Nicholas Davidowicz: Randomly closes and loses changes When I launch the app when multi tasking it will sometimes discard changes; does not auto save or recover

Lee Shallis: Nice and Simple Stuck to the needed features and none of this keyboard shortcut crap that instantly turned me off the Turbo Text Editor

John Hopkins: Needs polish Does not remember last folder location which makes it clunky for viewing several files

mdude: Good app! I've been searching for a notepad app with which I can import & edit txt files and also use search function to locate text within the file. This app serves that purpose. It lags a bit when I edit a file but that is fine.

Suuper W: Accidentally erased my file Open and save buttons are right next to eachother, and the app does not ask for confirmation before overwriting an existing file.

Brian Hillard: Background process issues If you paste text and then switch back to another app, when switching back to Ted all the text has vanished.

Robo4900: It's good. It would be nice if I could use a dark yellow text on black background theme(Basically for night-time usage), but other than that, no real complaints.

melody dracule: Very easy to use. Good for editing thank you.

Nathan Dehnel: Touch input lag? I keep getting input lag on it. It's impossible to type fast.

: Aside from a few issues with default file to open, it's a great text editor. And it's free and ad-free! Thank you very much.

Eric Leung: Damn near perfect. It auto saves as text files, is lightweight, and has a dark theme. Unfortunately, it also has a bug where the 'last opened file' is often not the file that was last opened, but this only occurs in conditions where limited ram is available.

Neil Harvey: Unable to save edited files OK as a text file viewer, but no good as an editor! Cannot save edited files.

ty rant: eh opens large files, but doesn't do code highlighting. pretty standard.

Torsten Seemann: Unusable due to lag Each clock takes three seconds to respond. Could not use on nexus 7

E. Allan: External SD Card write problem Can't save to External SD card. Please could you update. (Android 5.0.2)

D Pineault: Simple text editor It does what it is many to do. Nothing fancy, just a simple text editor. Great for viewing text documents, jotting down a few notes, ...

Yuttadhammo Bhikkhu: Favorite light editor Open source, uses native copy paste, even has auto save. Simple, easy to use, no complaints.

Nguyễn Tiến Dũng: It's free ad, I love it but it's kind of not support for unicode font (my text file's content is Vietnamese unicode. Plz fix it, Tks a lot for cool free stuff ^^

Bruce Moore: Works The SMS application that I use doesn't support vCards. I installed this application and was able to copy and paste to create the vCard file and import it into my contacts. This is simple and it works.

Myron Armstrong: Have been using this app on phones and tablets for more than a year and have absolutely no problems. And it does have Auto Save when app goes into background. You can turn Auto Save on in Settings.

Jim Kirk: Won't automatically save as .txt This is a text editor but makes you add the .txt extension.

Keldon Barnett: First of a few that retains line breaks when syncing to Windows PC I wanted to sync .txt files using dropbox, but whenever I edited them on my phone with the built-in app or other apps I've tried, the line breaks were gone when I re-opened the file on my PC. This is the first app of a few I've tested that retains the line breaks, so I'm happy :)

Erich Alderfer: Seems alright, but I can't seem to get it to launch when opening text files from other apps. Other text editors I've used work just fine for that purpose.

Paul Gent: Simple useful app. Good UI options, displays and allows editing of text, word wrap feature and searching. Solid text editor with no advertisements or unnecessary permissions. Good job!

K Kumi: A fairly decent editor. I'd like the keyboard to stay hidden, when I require. When a LAN file is edited, it doesn't save back until the app is closed.

: The slowest Editing speed of a 450kb text file is the slowest Ive found at 1 character every 4 seconds.

Alan Lukic: Very very very Slow writing 1 letter per 2 seconds
