How to setup Switchr - App Switcher apk for android
- For Android 4.0 or higher:Please to Settings, look down to Security, and select Unknown sources. Choosing this choice will enable to install apps download from the internet.
- For devices running on lower Android 4.0:
Please go to Settings - open the Applications option, and select Unknown sources, click OK on the popup alert.

To use Switchr, just swipe in from the edge, make your selection and let go! Switchr has three different styles (Flow, Slide, and Arc), each with it's own unique way of displaying your chosen recent/running/favorite apps. With live switching, you can switch between apps in real time as you swipe! Switchr can even replace your default search action, allowing you to switch between apps using the search key or by swiping up from the navigation bar. You can also pin your favorite apps and rearrange the order to your liking.

Until lollipop. Lollipop shuts down apps so there's nothing to switch to. I really hope this gets fixed, somehow. I will miss it until then. Simply download and enable this module: UnrestrictedGetTasks. If you're not there yet and do a lot of multitasking, this is an elegant and efficient switcher<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Skyler B:</span> Still works in lollipop for the most part Despite what others are saying you can still theorically use it to switch between apps if you use the same set of apps frequently. If you use 10s or 100s of different apps a day then it won't work. To get it to work in lollipop manually adding your favorite apps will work just as well as it did before. Yes it's not optimal but let's not pretend the app doesn't work in lollipop it does its just the recent function doesn't work.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Joe McIver:</span> Doesn't work properly in Lollipop Recent apps don't work in lollipop making this app almost useless with the hard coded restriction in the free version. Hopefully a fix can be made soon.
