How to setup PROTAG apk for android
- For Android 4.0 or higher:Please to Settings, look down to Security, and select Unknown sources. Choosing this choice will enable to install apps download from the internet.
- For devices running on lower Android 4.0:
Please go to Settings - open the Applications option, and select Unknown sources, click OK on the popup alert.

PROTAG acts like a wireless leash which "chains" your mobile phone to your valuable. In the event when your valuables are left behind, your mobile phone will alert you before any trouble arises.
Especially when you are overseas, losing your valuables can prove to be real hassle and pain when you are required to replace your passport at the embassy, calling the credit card companies to cancel your cards and replacing money when you lose your wallet and other valuables. Simply put it, your entire holiday will be ruined.

Assumes all your tagged valuables ALWAYS travel with you. WIFI Zone logic flawed. Have had about a hundred alerts while at home the last few days. Alerts continue even if you go back, also alerts too aggressive quick, probably needs an initial warning and after a short delay a self resetting alert. Can't set your own alert tone. The web site is non-functional. When my phone is lost its location is frequently incorrect on both phone and web (middle of the ocean). Radar doesn't have to vibrate like a maniac. No way to snooze the application or any of the tags.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Pan Talon:</span> not reliable, problems when using along Pebble smartwatch (BLE) Every few hours annoying false alarms with my Duet (either on Duet or phone side; phone doesn't turn on screen during alarm - imagine buzz alarm in the night as result of another Dueto to app connection problem). Since I installed this app after each log-in it forces re-pairing of my Pebble smartwatch (both use BLE). App is usable, but counter-intuitive, seems to eat a lot of battery, unable to turn off app without logging off (I use BT smartwatch and speakers at home and logging off seems only way to reduce battery usage of this app).<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Andreas Dugger:</span> Perfect Gift Ideal gift for my family and friends who are always losing their belongings. But it certainly is not as good as it's hype. When elite is close the address displays correctly, by as soon as the elite is lost the address changes to show in Spain. If you have sharp eyes when opening app you can see the original address before it changes. The alarm notification works great, only occasionally misfires and that's probably my phone.... The Wi-Fi zone is helpful. Early 2014 updates added a map and other novelties, and took away all functionality. Months of further updates haven't helped. It doesn't even connect anymore.
