Story is still light hearted with Izayoi continuing to be clueless as ever, it is a good laugh. Thankfully, unlike in Dios, the weapon synthesis mechanism had been made easier so it won't take long to have a weapon with desired effect. While the character developments are lacking, this game make it up with more humor than the previous. However, the magic combo is EXACTLY THE SAME COMBOS AS DIOS. That's ultra lazy now. The skill lvl system is a neat ida but was half-assed and needs more. Add like special effects/conditions to party or monsters or even the attack style can change. Just something other than just damage increase, it got boring quickly. Story completely glossed over the maids world and Freya and the others from last game.<br /><br />
