How to setup MetroHero: WMATA DC Metrorail apk for android

MetroHero: WMATA DC Metrorail Description
MetroHero is the free app you need AND the one you deserve, designed specifically for commuters, by commuters. Visualize the real-time position of every Metrorail train to get the clearest picture of the current state of the entire DC Metro system. Watch trains move down the tracks and be alerted to potential problem areas with delay heatmaps and crowd-sourced reports for stations and individual trains. We can even show you expanded arrival times for trains that aren't listed on WMATA's station boards.Here are just some of the features MetroHero offers:
* REAL-TIME TRACKING: watch trains travel to and from stations--live!
* DELAY HEATMAPS: see exactly where to expect congestion, slowdowns and delays based on recent train activity
* CURRENT HEADWAYS: view metrics about active revenue trains, the entire rail system, or just the lines you care about
* CROWDSOURCED REPORTING SYSTEM: help other MetroHero users avoid headaches or give them a heads-up when things are going right by tagging stations and trains

Ads can be permanently removed by making a small donation of 99 cents. Simply tap the white shopping cart icon in the bottom-right corner of the app. 100% of donations and ad revenue go directly towards offsetting the cost of keeping our servers running.

- Less loading screens: intelligent caching and a new (non-persistent) background service should keep app reloading to a minimum, even when disconnected from the Internet

If you are a frequent commuter on metro it's a requirement. And it will only get better the more people use it and enter extra train info. Update 9/20/16: I was holding out hope that the change to a hybrid app would be okay. The developers are very responsive to complaints, but at the same time since the change the load times for the app have rendered it unusable. And it ferls like you need a better cell connection to get any information than you used to need, which means in underground stations (most of the system) it just never loads. I never had an issue loading it at the Federal Triangle platform before but now it only works half the time. Not being able to reliably use Metro Hero anymore is a huge bummer, I had just paid to remove the ads, and used to recommend it to friends and coworkers constantly. I hope with customer feedback they can ditch the bells and whistles and bring it back to the fast, reliable, useful app that it was.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Matthew Windsor:</span> No Longer an App The move away from native app status to a glorified webpage front-end has really degraded what was the best Metro app. The whole thing is much slower and the redesign had made information much harder to access. Worst of all, the "offline mode" doesn't work at all. Without a data connection, I can't even get the system map to load.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Haley Dunn:</span> Get This App DC Metro is not super reliable, but this app is. Easy to use and very accurate in terms of real time estimates for trains. This latest update completely ruined what was a good thing. An easy to read and understand app is now confusing and difficult to use. What only took 1 or 2 screens to get info, has now turned into a scavenger hunt with no guarantee that the info your looking for will actually be there. Provides details on delayed trains, which is extremely important. I combine this with Citymapper to plan my trips on the system. Like a couple of others mentioned in their reviews, if they could figure out how to predict departure times from terminal stations (which may require getting access to Rail Operation Control Center data or developing some algorithm to predict those times based on other train positions) this app would be perfect.
