How to install AvNav EFB apk for android

AvNav EFB is an advanced Electronic flight bag (EFB) for pilots who enjoy local and cross country flying through variety of terrain and weather (sometimes in IFR condition). If you are a VFR flyer you will find our simple "Direct To"" navigation combined with easy to use tab-driven interface and always-on rubber-banding simple enough to get you started.
If you fly long distance facing terrain or weather, we have many advanced features such as Victor Airways support and support for Winds aloft in flight planning. Program can show terrain above you in red and you can insert DP/STARs and Instrument Approaches into your flight plan with easy menus.
AvNav Feature Highlights
•Stitched seamless VFR Sectional, TAC and IFR charts - whether its North up or Track up mode, our charts are always high quality and fast rendering
•Static and animated/looping Nexrad, Satellite imagery and AIRMET/SIGMET/PIREPs are shown overlayed on the map page.
•Uncluttered Weather Markersshow METAR parameters such as Sky condition, Ceiling, temperature on the map page itself providing unprecedented situational awareness. Also shown on the map page are TFRs and various classes of air-spaces (Class B,C,D)
•Terrain: see terrain over your altitude in red and know that you will be able to clear terrain ahead of you.

•DUAT Filing and Briefing - You can file an FAA Flight Plan and get weather briefing from the App itself. Most information is automatically copied from active flight plan thus reducing any need for typing.
•FBO Information and Fuel prices (updated daily) are included in the App. Fuel prices can be shown overlayed on the map page itself. You can search for lower priced fuel and FBOs in the Air.
•Fast downloads via Amazon AWS CloudFront- while you do not need any download other than the App to get started, for cockpit use offline charts are required and available via AWS CloudFront. Our downloads are fast and you can download multiple charts at the same time. You can also continue to use the app while download is in progress.
•In the Air, AvNav shows your GPS position on the charts and gets updated information from ADS-B receiver of your choice to display traffic and weather on the map page.
•Practice approaches like Pros - using easy menus all the waypoints of approaches and their altitude information can be inserted into the flight plan. You can also load DPs, STARs and Victor Airways thus reducing need for typing.
What's new in AvNav EFB 2.7.0
2.6 is our biggest release of the year 2016. Cloud Sync is here. All your App Settings, flight plans, aircraft profiles, briefings are stored securely on cloud and synced across all devices. To ensure privacy of the data - a login is now required. You can use Facebook or Google Plus to login.Also in this release are major chart quality improvements and automatic log collection mechanism - so we can make AvNav even more crash-proof in future.

I installed the app the evening of 03/02/2015. Mid-morning of 03/03/2015, it says my 45 day trial has expired. Also, while it was running, I couldn't save charts to SD card for offline viewing. I have a paid subscription on my WiFi only nexus and used the tablet for the first leg.After being off for a few hours at the destination, I turned the tablet back on, opened the app and found that avnav wouldn't open because it could not connect to google's servers and confirm my subscription! Fortunately I had a backup app for the way home but there HAS to be a way around this or this wonderful app is completely useless to me.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">John Demyan:</span> GREAT EFB ! Yes, you have to pop the whole 5 Bucks to try it out. This app is easy to use in the cockpit and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 that I use is slimmer than the iPad Min (that I also own)i, fits the chart format better and blocks out less of the aircraft panel. The app pages are controlled by discrete soft buttons, one for each page, which makes switching pages easy. The onlysuggestions I can add is to download a "no screen off" app and use the tablet with a cigarette lighter adapter<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Mike Danielak:</span> Not as polished as FlyQEFB The user interface is a little hard to navigate. Traffic from ADS-B is hard to see. They present it as a tiny icon that gets lost in the map and they don't provide altitude relative to you. I like the price and android support. BUT... AvNav EFB badly needs a key feature that I didn't see on the menu. Specifically, a default setting that will not allow download of data over cell phone unless deliberately changed by the user. There is such a setting for the weather, but as far as I could tell, not one for av data like charts. During initial setup I didn't notice my phone had lost wi-fi connection, and I burned through 1.5 GB of mobile data before my phone data limiter kicked in. Otherwise it would have been 4.5 out of 5 stars.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Rick Aurand:</span> 3 e-mails to tech support. NO RESPONSES They do not respond to emails when there are issues. The tabs, the ability to split screen, the notepad, and the ability to iconify the side icons are all great. I do wish that you could open the PDFs for the A/FD in the split screen, or make sure that the frequency list includes the station name. It would also be nice to open some of the other tabs on the split screen, especially the notepad. The UI is polished and smooth, maybe not as polished as Garmin Pilot, but its far more fluid. So far everything just works. The price is excellent, and it comes with all the charts (including the highs) that you'd expect to find. The only thing missing are TACs, but I've never needed to use one anyway.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Daniel Noboa:</span> Fantastic!!! Was able to display sectional charts, approach plates, and airport diagrams while on the ground. However, in flight, the sectional view was lost frequently. When it returned it was zoomed out all the way and had to be re-zoomed to the required setting. Google maps ran with no problems under the same flight conditions so this was not a GPS reception issue. I suspect it may be caused by the application attempting to change orientation due to turbulence. Many of the features are intuitive but others are not. I was not able to find a user manual available on-line. A very interesting app but needs more work before it's useful in flight. I'll be looking for updates and hope to fly with a stable version before the free trial expires. The main AVNav site "contact us" form did not work for me. Composed a detailed report twice but it was not sent.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Andrew Ross:</span> Best App Ever Use it all the time!<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Conrad Nzeribe:</span> Very good. However it is not exactly clear that this app is free only for a limited time. According to the mfr website after June 2014 it will cost money and it isn't clear how much. Selecting anything to download for offline use is an immediate crash, 100 percent of the time, on my nexus 10. Random crashes on zoom level adjustment, in certain maps selections. The user interface could also be improved, it seems a bit over complex. For example, it was not immediately obvious how to create a flight plan. But that is a minor nit compared to the overall stability of the app.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">:</span> The price is right and the app works pretty good, I would recommend it.
