How to setup Yonomi - Smart Home Automation apk for android
- For Android 4.0 or higher:Please to Settings, look down to Security, and select Unknown sources. Choosing this choice will enable to install apps download from the internet.
- For devices running on lower Android 4.0:
Please go to Settings - open the Applications option, and select Unknown sources, click OK on the popup alert.
Yonomi - Smart Home Automation Description
Yonomi connects everything in your home.Connect all of your favorite connected home devices and wearables like Sonos speakers, Philips Hue, LIFX lights, Nest products, Amazon Echo, Jawbone UP and much more with the free Yonomi app and all without an additional hub.
Quickly set up automated and triggered “routines” so your devices respond to each other to make your home more comfortable and your life easier.
When you wake up, have your Nest Learning Thermostat™ get the house toasty while the weather broadcasts on your Sonos and the coffee starts brewing on its own. Cue family movie night with one tap: your Philips Hue and LIFX lights dim, the TV turns on, and the August Smart Lock makes sure the house is secure.

You can remove the app, but your account cannot be deleted or removed or deactivated. When you sign out of the app, it keeps doing stuff. Great automation control for multiple devices but the killer function for me is the ability to easily play, pause and adjust the volume of my Sonos speakers. Currently the device support is limited, but hopefully we'll get better. Email support is really responsive, but a detailed help on the website and a forum will be helpful. Response to commands through Amazon echo is a bit slow. Any speeding up of this will be good.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Will Hartley:</span> Very clever app which I'm using to control Sonos via Echo/Alexa. Haven't had any issues getting it working, but it needs a couple of minor tweaks to make it properly functional as a Sonos controller. Most importantly, the 'Play Favourite' action should trigger the 'Replace Queue' option in Sonos rather than 'Add to Queue'. Unless I'm missing something, currently this action just enables you to add the designated playlist to the existing queue, meaning you end up with a mix of the new playlist you want plus whatever was previously playing, which isn't actually that useful. Ideally there should also be a Sonos action allowing you to toggle Shuffle Mode on and off. With the above it would be superb.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Paul Christopher:</span> Excellent App It's far superior to IFFT when it comes to making your smart home devices work together with far more conditions and actions than IFFT allows. For example, I can create s routine so that when I turn off my Wemo light switch in the master bedroom, it also turns off the bed table lamps and turns on my white noise playlist on the bedroom Sonos but only if it's after 9pm. Try doing that with IFFT! That said, Yonomi doesn't work with all the external services IFFT does like Weather Underground, etc.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Ian Plummer:</span> IT might be great, it might not. I can't tell because it wont let me register an account. It says I need to check my network connection, although I can connect to the internet just fine. As I can't register any way other than through the app, I can't use it. Crap!<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Mazen Kara:</span> Worked for 5min with Alexa then stopped I have absolutely no idea why after 5min it stopped accepting the commands with Alexa using WEMO bulbs. Edit - after contacted them they deleted my account and all information, so they say. The only option I get is to make my phone send a push message to my phone, which is pointless.
