Great for if you have other apps that change your screens brightness based on lux values, but you need to get a feel for how bright "200 lux" is.

A Google User: Please add foot candles option. Please add an option for foot candles instead of lux. Then I'll change my rating to five stars. Otherwise great app.

A Google User: , Tested this and several other apps against a light meter. Inaccuracy is a function of the sensor, not the app. Don't trust your phone's light sensor for critical readings. Overall this app should not exist without some hardware to accompany it. I appreciate the idea but the sensors in phones are not up to the task.

Blue Chan: Depends on the hardware, may not work for everyone. Ultimately the phone light sensor was not meant to be so sensitive it could tell the difference between 1% and 2% light. When measured against a Photographers meter, it is soo inaccurate it isn't remotely funny. So really there is no way to give this app a rating as it ultimately depends on the phone hardware for accurate results. Just the basics, it can tell you if the light is on or off...
