Nashyda Shadowalker: Still Waiting Contacted customer service the month I got my devices and installed the app. Four months and several updates later they still haven't given the option to change the broadcast channel on the devices. I live in an apartment complex with 20 or so other networks, yet these things think they need to broadcast on the same channel as 5 other devices.

Carl Lidstone: Love it Reliable internet, great control - only issue I have is a luma going offline and having to restart it - if you could do that from the app it would be 5 stars

Brian Kime: Can we get a VLAN specific to IoT devices in addition to the regular and guest networks?

yasin jabbar: The new version is awesome Luma has been blasting out these updates. I'm a happy camper! The ability to set bedtimes is innovative!

Peter Dickerson: This app has come a long way remarkably quickly. The security updates are great. Having the ability to control my network, set access, and get security notifications on my phone is invaluable!

Meraj Hoda: Loved it! Best Wi-Fi experience Ever

Chitra Pandian: Cool feature

Josh Bodine: App is OK The app is very slow to update statuses and i have many devices on the network that just plain don't show up so I can't manage. Needs work. I also did not realize they would be tracking network setup information on their servers. Had a difficult time setting up (and I am a software engineer) and spent time with support.

Jean Marc Benevise: Best support ever I received one defective unit in a 3 units bundle. After email to support I got a new unit immediately. Set up is very easy. Maintenance is none. Give us an access to the configuration and it will deserve 6 stars.

: Do far it is working very well! The app is working very well and is largely meeting our needs. It will be even better if (1) Internet can be switched in and off for selected individual devices and (2) it were a bit easier to identify individual devices the first time they are used.

Gregg Seigfried: It has worked great for us!! It does what it says it does. Set up was mostly easy. Had one of the routers act up and I had to call support. The guy on the other end was very thorough and helpful. Finally had to do a full reset of the device and then it connected. Would definitely recommend and I tell everyone about it.

Family Kronstedt: Frequently shows I have no devices online

Jed Hughes: Easy to use Simple and quick setup with enough control over priority.

Larry Breeding: Luma units are great...the app is avg.

Gary Schierman: Functionality is still growing Works well enough, but still awkward to use and does not have all of the promised features and capabilities yet.

Satyajit Nashikkar: Getting better The app is getting better. The hardware itself has been doing excellent. I've had the mesh up and running for about 3 weeks now.

Chris Newman: Better every update Solid WiFi!

Chris Douglas: Better and better It started out bare bones, but reliable. Now there's been several updates and the apps ability to control more aspects of your network is awesome. I look forward to seeing what's next.

Jon George: I love Luma it is the best Great product works like a champ. Set up was easy and simple. Granted the app is lacking features but they will add them time.

Chris Jackson: Advanced Network Settings Removed? Looks like with the Daily Time Limits update the Advanced Network Settings menu was removed. Hopefully it'll be back with a relatively soon future update. (V. 1.2.3.5)

Jacob Smith: So useful I get internet in every room of my house now and it is very useful to be able to limit my children's internet usage. Also, inviting guests to the network is a breeze. Overall a great app.

Edward Olanow: Wifi app improving Really like the nicknames and now the ability to forget devices. The app is really coming along.

Christopher Robinson: Severely limited functions. Web admin broke. The new update was a step in the right direction - a very small step. The unit now has a small portion of the features I would expect on any router, but is missing many. It seems there is now a web based admin portal that can be used from a computer, but it requires you to request access from the admin (which has to be approved from the phone app). When you try to approve the request though, it gives an error. Why can one not log in with the admin credentials? I should also be able to set my own static IP.

Ivan Moore: Needs more features What it does do it does well for the most part. The device assignment section could really use the ability to see what IPs are currently assigned and the ability to name/rename devices. Other than that just waiting on all the features we were promised to roll out.

Neil Howell: App is really basic If all you want is better coverage and limited options to not be confused by, then this is for you. Lots of missing basic functions, not just what the promised in the pitch. What firmware are the devices, who knows. What devices are on my network, let me scroll through a cryptic list and no way to rename. When was someone last on my network, nope, only tells me who was on my network the last time i rebooted the lumas...and that takes a few minutes. I like the system, but....

Erik S: Missing many features Many features are missing that other routers have had for years. You can call it a mesh network or repeaters, but at the end of the day it comes up short on basic functions.

Samuel Rutledge: Not quite as advertised I had hoped for a bit easier set up (I ended up on the phone with support for close to 45 minutes. Hardly an easy set up. Also, the ads make it sound like you can get a report of all the internet activity your kids do, which is not the case. The parental controls are cludgy and imprecise. I had also hoped to be able to pause internet for summer devices without affecting all of them, and at times I've had trouble getting the app to log in. Not quite ready for prime time, I think.

Stephen Jones: Over-promised, under-delivered I am aware that this is a crowd-funded product, and I got in early for a "discounted" price. But I still paid a lot of money, and nowhere in the advance publicity did I read anything about how spartan the features of this router would be when it was delivered. Basically it has NO parental controls at this point. It also maintains every device that ever connected to it in the list, with no ability to assign friendly names, so it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to manage. I could go on and on, but I'm out of characters.

Romel Madlangbayan: Coverage Good. App Bad. I'll give it 3 stars just because of the good WiFi coverage. It certainly took far longer than 10 minutes to set up. The app has none of the features that were advertised.

: Easy to Use Easy to use, simple design. Ideal for my no fuss setup.

J Soltis: I expected more I would like more information, features, control from the app. The hardware itself is great, I have no issues there. I want more granularity to the parental controls in the app. It's just kinda meh.

Matt Zimmerman: Getting there Still some missing features, but it's getting closer to expectations. Hardware seems solid.

: Getting Better Rough start but adding features and good performance.

craig schojan: Crap at least at this point "We have not been given the future we were promised "

Edmund Eslava: I need control.. Missing all the basic router control features of dhcp, port forwarding, etc.

Xochil Guwan: Lots of issues - I REALLY need to separate the 2.5GHz from 5GHz bands. This was told to me via support email 5 months ago. Where is this? - Port forwarding - DHCP Lease and Reservations section? - Rename devices - Where is the real time data traffic information? Like the video. - MAC address cloning - DNS settings? Where are those? - Set IP range (a 192.168.1.x is a must!) These are all necessary and required features. I'll argue the MAC cloning isn't on OnHub nor the stupid Airport Extreme, but it is on every other re

Michael Quinlan: Better than extenders, but needs work I'm glad I switched from an extender setup to Luma. Much better speed and coverage. But they are clearly rushing. The android app is missing obvious stuff. Setup with iOS is much, much better than Android, and I actually finally borrowed an iPhone. I think this will be really great with time, but if you want the better coverage now, expect some construction dust to still be there when you move in.

Dan Putnam: Great mesh WiFi for home This is in no way a home router replacement. However it is by far the best match home Wi-Fi I have seen to date. It rivals some of best Network Solutions in the Enterprise space. As a router I would give it one star. The best implementation strategy I would with would be to keep your current modem router configuration the way it is and replace your current Wi-Fi with a solution. Another piece of advice would be to disconnect your device from any existing Wi-Fi before attempting to set up your Luma.

Jeff Lewis: Super Easy Setup / Needs basic and even advance configuration settings. I'll be the first to admit that it sets up easy and performs very well. But if you want to configure anything other than the SSID you are out of luck. Luma, please enable the configuration features all routers have. Let's start with the basic ones LAN TCP/IP configuration, DHCP server configuration... I would have to bet that Luma early adopters have needs for basic router configurations. Hopefully this product isn't just targeted to the technically inclined.

Jaimin Patel: Works for what it is suppose to do Quick config and i was up and running. Features in the app are basic for anyone who has dealt with routers. Hoping that there will be updates coming out soon and i would be able to get more control on the config.
