This app used to be amazing. Then they quit maintaining it. Now the program throws an exception every time I try to download the new database on my tablet. I've even tried un-installing multiple times, but no luck. $15 is a rip-off unless the devs intend to maintain their product. In a world where apps are free, or cost at most $1 or $2, you should NEVER experience trouble with something the devs claim is worth $15.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">A Google User:</span> This app was great for the standards of years ago. However it has not been updated to modern standards for over a year. Seems like the developer forgot about this app. Gospel library is free and is also much better. I will rethink my review when the app gets updated.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Anthony Marc:</span> By far the best scriptures app With the addition of videos, curriculum, pictures, audio, and everything else it already had, this is easily the best scriptures app on any market. Performance varies based on device, but it outperforms everything else when you compare the apps on the same device. If you are using it on a 3 or 4 year old device or a low end slow device then you should expect issues, but if you are running on anything made in the last year or two then performance is awesome. I use it on a mini pc android device and plug it into the flat screen at church all the time to show videos and other things. It is awesome beyond compare. Definitely get this app if you are looking for a well made and incredibly useful way to keep track of all of your LDS gospel resources.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">adesomer:</span> I love this app on my Motorola Droid Razor M. However, here I am at January 12, 2014 and I can't find the Joseph Fielding Smith manual anywhere. Now in searching for it the app us stuck in "searching for content." I rely on this app and now I'm feeling like I need to download the free app through the church. If I try to open a chapter in any of the scriptures it does nothing. My content doesn't show up and I can't sign in anymore.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Dirk Willden:</span> No longer goes to lanscape view Until recently turning your device sideways went into landscape view which is the best view for hymns. The Hymnal was one of the few reasons I even open this paid app anymore. The FREE Gospel library is more up to date and useful than most of this overpriced app, and now even that usefulness has vanished.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Dave Harris:</span> Worked great on Note 3, Doesn't work at all on Note 4 I had no problems and loved this app when I had the Note 3.
