iOnRoad Augmented Driving Lite Description
★★★★★ A Driving Safety app that warns you of collisions!iOnRoad improves driving in real time using the power of advanced smartphones. The app uses the smartphone’s native camera, GPS and sensors to detect vehicles in front of the host vehicle, alerting drivers when they are in danger. Our Visual Radar maps objects in front of the driver in real-time, calculating the driver's current speed using native sensors. As the vehicle approaches danger, an audio-visual warning pops up to alert of a possible collision, allowing the driver to brake in time.

Yossi Goldstein: Keep crashing As I start google maps or waze to navigate, I on road keep crashing all the time. I have Nexus 5 16G with Android 6.0

Lukáš Katrenčík: Nexus6 Response takes too long, once restarted the phone.

Timothy Morris: Needs refinement Day 1. Download it stuck on dash personal dash mount made for my phone. Set up app free education to test. Folowing distance would jump between 1.0 and 0.1 and I know it was way more. Keeps saying off road while in middle of my lane. Day 2. Uninstaller and reinstall redid set up just in case I messed up calubrasion same probs. Good app good idea fix those 2 probs and I'll buy.

Benny Baraz: Great app! But I wonder why don't you use the sensors when available such as accelerometer to recognize up/downhill and turns and thus better capture the lane.

Patricia Stipe: Didn't recognize motorcycle Works pretty well when center and side lines of road are painted. Not so well when there are no painted shoulder lines. Also wasn't giving me distance to the motorcycle in front of me. I saw him, the camera didn't.

Philip Saxton: Driving points make it super fun. Great product. Having problems with relative speed only indicating my speed and have to force quit to exit on OnePlus One.

Gábor Balázs: Not bad I like the lite version. Thinking about purchasing the Pro. One thing I dislike: it has very high processor load, therefor the phone is getting hot.

Mort Linder Hodak WeatherMaster: Almost really good. Speed limit alert is worthless. if not tied to the speed limit sign detection. I would buy the pro if it told you when you were over the detected limit. And why does the detected speed limit disappear? It should stay on the screen.

Mehrad Karimi: Internet connection error i have fast internet connection but Internet connection error display during using app,

Daniel Bauer: Internet Connection failure Needs an internet Connection. According to the app, my internetconnection is missing and the only thing to do is to click ok in a box that closes the app Oddly, web, mail, OTA installs of apps works. There is nothing wrong with my internet connection. No problems with the wifi and no problem with the mobile data. It might be a bug, but it still doesnt work

Mohammad Ahmed: Very interesting. But I have few suggestions: keep the video recording in background while running GPS. Also the accessories link is dead. Maybe at later stage sound command would be great development. You are on right track. Keep it up.

Dave Crick: A solid performer! Fantastically quick response from the developer following an issue. Seems to work much smoother and solves many small bugs that I've had before, very recommend.

Joseph Kilgore: IOnroad This new vision kinda sucks , I loved the older vision because it didn't require it to record , I think the owner just wants to record other people driving and have this saved to his server and that I find messed up so I don't think I will be re-downloading his program until he changes the way it has to record , I loved the old version because as I was driving it would some times detect the oncoming tragic and it would detect how fast they're driving it was so cool

Basavaraj Betageri: Good companion Liked it.. It helps on drive.. But consumes battery a lot

Don Paterson, Sr: Great app, easy to use.

Abbas Kiaheyrati: I use this app from 2012 summer to now very good idea for get a smart driving.

Vic DeVore: Cool, not ready for primetime. I tested the app for about 300 miles in different driving conditions. The results were very inconsistent, at best. The setup was easy, and my hood played no role, and it was easy to level. My first criticism is in the identification of the roadway. The green shaded area will wildly stretch and change direction. And, I was receiving false positives for clouds and objects that were not even in the roadway. Also, the distances reported would change rapidly and erroneously. Two stars only because concept.

Christopher Webb: Mixture of good and bad I tested iOnRoad over a few hundred miles. On the upside I can see it as a good way to encourage people to keep a good distance between themselves and the car in front. On the downside I've had far too many false positives, usually signs. But worst of all is the pop up telling me to keep the phone online to keep iOnRoad up to date. This means touching the screen to clear it and then the program quits. That should never happen on a safety program like this. Hence 2 stars.

: Great idea Needs more work. You have to place the phone in the middle of the windshield for it to work properly which is unsafe. It also does not work during twilight hours. When you are in a turn it registers the car in the other lane as a warning. It has a hard time finding the edge of the road on concrete highways. It also registers repairs on the road and driving under bridges as warnings. I also found it has a hard time recognising white cars while diving on concrete roadways.

Blu S.: Furious! Galaxy III I installed this app tonight and am unable to access my phone. It is locked on the main screen and will not unlock. It only vibrates and tells me what I am doing. Removed battery, connected to computer, and tried everything I could think of in order to access my phone to delete this nightmare, all to no avail. Earlier this evening I connected my phone to my pc and downloaded pics. After installing this application, my computer no longer recognizes my phone and will not respond. I emailed the devs asking them. Until then...no phone. It's a Galaxy III. Prior to installing the app, I checked the compatibility and saw Galaxy III was in the "best" group of phones. If this works great for you...wonderful. If you've yet to install it, please ensure you are backed up and have support readily available....just in case. I've just stopped using my iphone 5 32 GB and went back to my old Galaxy III 16 GB. It was my first iPhone and I've learned I am not a fan. Prefer Android. Let's just say I will not be using this app...if and when I get control of my phone back...lol.
