How to install Auto Brightness Switch apk for android
- For Android 4.0 or higher:Please to Settings, look down to Security, and select Unknown sources. Choosing this choice will enable to install apps download from the internet.
- For devices running on lower Android 4.0:
Please go to Settings - open the Applications option, and select Unknown sources, click OK on the popup alert.
Auto Brightness Switch Description
This application switches on or off auto brightness on Android 2.2+ phones. It saves the last manually set brightness level in order to return to that level when auto brightness is disabled.This app is not a widget, so it won't show you the current setting visually, it won't take up extra memory, and it won't bog down your home screen.
You can also trigger it by holding down the search button (if any) on your phone.
Please email the developer with bugs or feedback. Auto Brightness Switch is open source and released under the GPL license. Patches and translations are welcome.

1.3.0:- Add support for Android 6 (Marshmallow) runtime permissions. When you run the app, it will prompt you to allow it to edit system settings. This is necessary to change brightness settings.

Xperia Arc S and Pro (other Xperias probably, too) came with optional on screen toggle, which in my case toggles between stronger (+auto off) and very dim (+auto on) backlight (very hard detectable). Which is both non-logical and useless. This app worked very good, and is lightweight. It really just switches auto on/off, leaving me to choose working levels. I don't know if it sorts bugs in original solution, makes it's own calculations, or something else, but the result is nice: brightness slowly changes when outer light changes. It is mild and sufficient. Just like it should be! This toggle is the only one I've found that simply toggles auto-brightness on and off, with one click, no gradients. But, it misses a 5 because when clicking back to auto, sometimes it won't take effect until you turn off the screen. That's a bug. Also, it'd be good if the brightness could decrease to and start from even 0%, as now it needs to be a step brighter than 0 for this app to start working.
