PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE USINGSquealock Crypto is a unique anonymous chat app for the privacy and security minded. We do not allow profile pictures and options like sending videos or sound recordings (you are still able to send pictures), nor display your contacts within the app like most messaging apps do, simply because this could compromise user anonymity. We do not offer group chat because it often results in chaos; so we encourage 1 on 1 chat by allowing each user to go live and tell other worldwide users what they are seeking. Unless you choose to be live, you will need to give your user ID to those you wish to chat with, so they can message you here. In fact, my user ID is kw07, and I can be your first contact. About Squealock:
Most of us are already weary about giving out our phone numbers to strangers, and for good reasons. It can be subjected to abuse by stalkers, advertisers, and can even be used to collect more personal data about you, without your consent.
Most messaging apps require your phone number when you sign up, in order to gain access to your phone data, including your contacts' names, their numbers, and email addresses, to say the least. This data is often used by companies for marketing and advertising purposes, is not always well guarded, and can therefore end up in the wrong hands.
There are lots of anonymous chat apps out there, but the fact remains that people still can manage to take snaps with external devices or preinstalled software, even if your favorite chat app offers screenshot notification or DRM protection, which aim at preventing screenshots. With our app however, your true identity still won't be exposed (although you should never send a revealing picture with your face in it, if you truly wish to remain anonymous). That's because our anonymous chat app is not just an encrypted messaging application; it also allows you to change your primary identifier (user ID), and does not store messages on your phone in form of a chat log. Besides, messages rigidly self-destruct once read (not delay options). Your contacts must have your user ID in order to message you on the app, therefore giving you full control. Unlike a phone number there is no worry in giving out your user ID to people for privacy reasons, because it can easily be changed. Once you change your user ID, the old user ID becomes invalid, and no one can use it to contact you anymore. It’s like being able to change your phone number as often as you wish, but without the hassle. Your anonymous chats cannot be read by anyone except the intended recipients; not even by us. We do not require your phone number nor access your phone contacts when you sign up.
Our anonymous chat community is made up of people of different sexual orientations (straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender) and occupations ranging from company executives to college students. Some use Squealock to engage in campus chat, and others use it to share secrets, confidential information, or to be discreet.
Please note:
★ Only 100 characters can be entered into the text field of this secure messenger to allow users enough time to read your messages before they self-destruct.
★ When you upload a picture to send it, it never appears in the text field (stealth mode), but will be delivered once sent.
★ You should not engage in sexting or send nude pictures to others without their consent or approval; it will get you banned.
★ You should not mention any personal information or your credentials on other social networking apps or dating apps, as it will get you banned.
★ Beware that iPhone users can take screenshots per Apple's requirements, but you will receive a notification message to alert you, if this happens.
