David Scott: Not working after update Updated had to re-enter deleted configuration. Now working perfectly again.

tim perrigo: Sucks and support from company

Allan Williams: Do not buy this product

Conrad Geiger: New version wipes config! I was incredibly frustrated when I opened my app after it auto updated. All of my settings were gone. It actually wouldn't work even after I reprogrammed it. It kept forcing close and then finally after uninstalled and reinstalling it worked. I have a password on my caddy and wonder if it had to do with a bug in that. Also to the user who is trying to put http:// in front of the hostname, that is your problem. Put just the hostname.

Pierre Reynes: Lost config after uograde After the upgrade to 1.6 my devices are gone!

Ben Madison: Excellent with caveats The app is an excellent addition to THE best sprinkler controller on the market. However, the application is limited in what is shown (namely the missing calendar that you can view via PC). If they added the calendar, this app would be 10 stars. Another addition I would like to see is the option to remove the controller selection screen for those of us with a single unit (most likely 90% of the user base). Just make it a toggle option in settings!

lt118436572: Needs an update This app has an awesome interface. It does not have the ability to change the name of the zones. You have to pay for the app, which is dumb.

Rusty Kroboth: Could be better Love my caddy, and the web interface to it is decent. But this app has a poorly designed and confusing user interface. The best way I can describe it is that it feels like I'm browsing a website where every single link pops open a new window. The start screen where you select a caddy to manage then start clicking buttons at the top is bizarre. The app also crashes alot on my galaxy s3. I can start the sprinklers though, so if you get your head wrapped around the strange UI then it's possible.

Brad White: Can't initiate cycle and constantly crashes This app is unusable. It crashes constantly and although it can show the current status of my system, it can't start a program. Basically worthless.

Mitchel Hayes: Works but has issues The app allows you to get connected to the Irrigation Caddy fine. The problem is that there seems to be an issue with accessing the programs from the Irrigation Caddy. Maybe it is only an issue with the new wireless IC.

Michael Schiff: Works great Once I finally got it set up it worked great. I ordered the newer wifi unit and the developer did not state on their website that the app only works on the older non-wifi Caddy device. He sent me a link to download and install the beta version which has been working perfectly so perhaps it will be on the app store soon. My biggest complaint is that there is no way to speak with a live person - all support is done through email. This is typical if you are just buying an app, but when you are buying an actual device, there is almost always a customer support number to call if you run into trouble during the installation. This is the reason I am only giving 3 stars, but other than that I am very happy with the product. It is very easy to use and the UI on the phone is very clean. The one feature I did suggest is a rain delay button so you can set it to be on rain delay (off) for X number of days so you don't have to remember to manually turn it back on X days later. He said this feature will be added in a future release.

Matthew Sand: Good app..but lied to! Disappointed. The app will randomly go into cannot find caddy until I restart the app :/

Sip Johnson: Works! Had to update firmware on my s1 caddy but after that it worked pretty smoothly. Been very happy with the caddy over the last 3 years.

Barney: Unstable You don't expect such a poor app if they charge for out

Rod Blau: Does not work on my nexus 4

Bill Perrault: Works only when on WiFI network On 3 or 4G won't connect.

Pablo Linares: best app great app

Jason Green: Needs work... For the amount of money every this cost, I would have expected a more polished product. The total run time is way off, and the time scale for setting valve run times is way off. As soon as I try to change it, it changes to 30 something hours rather than minutes. I would love to get hold of the api to talk to the controller.

Jay Norris: Great product This works as advertised, except there are several times I get an "unable to connect to controller" message. Network is solid. It may be the controller box. There is an issue with being able to save a change to the start time of any of the programs. You just can not do it with this app.

Dave Kazebeer: Finally, I don't need to subscribe to anything! I've been wanting an app to control my Caddy ever since I bought it last year, and this definitely does the job! Before I used the web interface (because I didn't want to pay for a subscription for the only other app out there), which worked just fine, but this makes things a whole lot easier. No problems so far, everything works like it should. The only thing I'd like to see added in a future update is an exit button. Thanks again!

Jeff Brochu: Grrrrrrreat! Works great with my irrigation caddy controller. The only hiccup is the times for program run times, etc show 65 + hours for all of them......when the programmed zones only run for 10 minutes.

Mike Green: Great product now even better! I have had an irrigation caddy for a few years now. I wrote my own android app early on but only added a few controls and back then, the api was a bit lacking. This app gives me everything I need to fully control my sprinklers from anywhere in the world. Even authentication works great!

Jeff Frank: Great App Great App, and Great product...... works perfect, is fast to connect and control. if you have the hardware the App is a no brained...... worth every penny.

Jason Priebe: Excellent app!! some minor issues getting it all connected, I had to set a static IP to get consistent results. Works perfectly, would love to have the schedule view that is on the server also be on the app

Kirk Sylvester: Must have for IrrigationCaddy Great addition and more convenient than the web interface. Works great especially with the VPN feature of my router... Can connect from anywhere to my sprinklers securely. With a little polish to the interface, a renamed app icon (devices?), and access to more of the settings available on the web interface I'd give it that extra star.

Jerry Van Wagenen: Good companion for the web interface Not quite as fully featured as the web interface, but it has most everything you'd expect in a mobile app. It's certainly much easier to use this app than bringing a laptop outside when testing sprinkler stuff. It's too bad they don't have any kind of remote login features like my Honeywell thermostat app, but you can always set it up to directly access your controller through the internet (but I didn't because of security considerations). I only wish they would fix the back button's annoying behavior.

Carmine DeLuca: Great way to improve Finally a way to connect other than loading up the web page. smoother control from anywhere. can't wait till they add more features. A must have for any IrrigatoinCaddy owner.

Paul Pakiakis: Works great but.. Should be free if it's the manufacturer putting out an application to control their own product that's only accessible via the Web. Thankfully, it's just a few bucks.

Eric C: So far so good Just what I needed, as the web interface is too slow and clunky for even the smartest of smartphones.

Jared Day: Prefect! So nice having an app developed by IrrigationCaddy. Does everything I need it to do. Nice work!

Aaron Evans: Great App I love being able to control the sprinklers from anywhere. Very convenient and helps me control my water usage.

scott davis: Great Works great they should raise the price

Michael Laraway: Fantastic. Love it. Would be great to have alerts in future (if watering is skipped due to wet rain sensor, etc.), but I'm just happy to see a forward thinking sprinkler control!

Ken Price: Well done! Nicely designed, works perfectly.

Jerry London: Galaxy S5 doesn't work Can see unit bt does not operate it.
