*UPDATE* - We have been getting reports of audio cutting out unexpectedly. Many issues are caused with a recent Power Saving mode feature introduced into many devices. Please try disabling this feature until we can find a more permanent fix.This app offers the fastest and easiest way to listen to the best talk radio on the Internet.

Probably around 4-6 times per hour. Sometimes it's just a drop, sometimes it's a total shut-down. Very unreliable. Also about a 3 minute delay from the live feed - not a big deal, but just an FYI. For the most part the app works flawlessly on my Android v.5. While I appreciate advertisers and other supporters of all talk radio I must concur with another reviewer … the “PSA’s” played incessantly are enough to drive one nuts. I do NOT want to hear about every possible medical condition known to man from the Mayo clinic. And I TRULY do not want to hear about buying light bulbs from a Grandpa/Grandson. Hopefully, someday in the future, TSL will acquire true advertisers. For now -- to maintain my sanity when one of these horrid PSAs comes on – I have to pull out my earbuds. Four stars for the app. Zero stars for the “advertisements.”<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Debbie Porter:</span> Great app when it works I have stopped using TSL. The stream just stops 6 or more times an hour. Very frustrating. Then I have to take my eyes off the road to reopen the app and hit the reload button in the middle then bam it works again for another 5 to 20 minutes. Program constantly shutdowns and TSL lies says and blames the phone battery. I have it plugged into power still same problem. I have no power saving feature on and same problem. Not surprisingly, the problem tends to happen most frequently in areas with poor cellular coverage or weak Wi-Fi signals, but other streaming services seem to have fewer freeze-ups. Maybe those other services build up a reserve of data and use it if needed, but whatever the other guys do, Talk Stream isn't doing it. I found the problem, Samsung pushed an update with a power saver feature. Disable the power saver during the downstream and it works well. 5 stars.<br /><br />
