Lance Pellerin: Absolutely terrible.

Ken Overton: Worthless

Ernesto Guerra: Come on people! The user interface is ridiculous, it's slower than a PC running vista. It's ridiculous how much more seamless the Sirius xm is on the 2017 Forester than the Starlink. Did Sirius offset the cost of the units by making their stuff more compatible with the head unit than your own software? Mirrorlink? Don't even think about getting it to work. Not even with an HTC m9 that has mirrorlink pre-loaded. I don't know why you even thought that this software was ok to put out.

Mark Anunson: Well that's embarrassing. For Subaru, I mean. I almost got the app to open, but it just crashes every time. The glimpses I got were clunky and poorly designed. I'm really confused by how terrible this app is. It is uniquely bad, and completely useless. Nexus 5x phone on a 2017 Forester. (Hint to traditional car manufacturers, this is an area where disruptors like Tesla make you look like you're stuck in the stone age. I mean, this app would be unacceptable in 2010, let alone 2017. Get your house in order, and join the 21st century.)

Devin-Scott Botelho: Now on my 3rd Subaru, a 2017 Forester... The dealer uses STARLINK as a selling point. You need to rethink this very seriously. It doesn't work very well. Phones have better compatibility and performance with aftermarket Kenwoods and Pioneers, and they're over 5 yrs old.

Jerry Van Wagenen: Took me about half an hour to get it working, but finally did. Definitely clunky, but did eventually get iHeartRadio functional. However, it's way faster and easier to just launch iHR on your phone and Bluetooth the audio, so what's the point of Starlink? You also have to launch the Starlink mobile app before the car app can do anything, and who wants to wait for all that to load everytime they get in their car? And the price for Magellan nav made me lol. Thanks, but I'll stick with Google maps.

Dmitri Shuev: This app is categorized under "Maps and Navigation". Is this is joke? The are neither maps, nor navigation capabilities!!! Dear Subaru - PLEASE update the firmware in my 2017 Forester so that it is compatible with Android Auto, or at least implement seamless Google Maps mirroring via Bluetooth and USB. Remove useless Aha and Pandora apps, clean up the console UI from all this "trendy" junk, and cut your losses with this embarrassment of an app - the longer it stays in the App store, the worse your reputation becomes!

Andria Marie: STUPID. It gives me a "your phone is on silent and we don't want you to miss a call" notice every stinking time I plug or unplug my charger. The screen will not go away until you acknowledge it. It interupts anything u are running at the time. Hey stupidru! Its none of your business that I have my phone on silent! Uninstall!

Lester Sisk: I've only been able to get this app to link twice. What I found is very disappointing. But I haven't been able to get this app to actually launch enough to fully explore what's included. If there was anything of any value to this app I'd not know. Since never launches. Who ever wrote this app should start over.

Jeremy Whitehead: Tried this new version that was supposed to be better. Still a POS. What a joke that a "major manufacturer" thinks this is sufficient to offer on their flagship sports car. I'm starting to check around to see what the other manufacturers are offering. The STi has some better competition than it used to.

Pa Du: Update 4/25/17: No changes at all. Its embarrassing when Hyundai,Nissan,VW, etc all have proper in dash systems. However if you buy a 2017 Subaru you'd better make it the impreza. None of the other 2017s have it. SUBARU you have the software, how about giving us the update already. Paying 27k for a vehicle isnt worth some customer satisfaction? Check out the Naosic, Fozzy, Legacy boards. A lot of us are not happy. bought a 2017 Forester with all the bells and whistles. However I can't even mirror my Note 5. Even Honda can do that. All everyone wants is a proper screen mirror. Get it done already.

Carl Timperio: Any reviews that are greater than 1 star are fake and should be removed by Google. This app is the worst app I have ever used. There are no pros, only cons. This app is garbage.

Jared Bevis: Completely useless. Have newest pixel phone and new 2017 Forester. MirrorLink is garbage, unsupported on most devices. Get Android auto running in your vehicles like most other brands...your getting blown away by competition in the infotainment.

nineironputt: Wow Subaru should be ashamed of this software and the scam they have going with it. To charge so much extra for a system like this that is made out to sound like the best thing ever is complete garbage. Do not buy a Subaru with infotainment youll be very sorry. Take note from all the negatives on here ...

Make Name Acceptable Go: It works. Not very well and not all parts but it does work for me. Only half way practical thing is weather... And it's pretty lame. S5 and 2017 Forester

Mark Callan: I bought my Subaru for the flat six and all wheel drive, so I'm not too disappointed. But they need to release an SDK for this and let some owners take a crack at it. I for one would love to contribute to such a project. In its current state, star link is basically worthless.

Vladimir Edelman: How possibly application can be sooo sloooow running on flagship in 2015? Changing of screens takes forever, location/size of buttons is just messed up, functionally questionable and most importantly connection problems 9 out of 10 times. Same results on two different devices so I'm pretty sure app is the problem. By contrast Pandora and aha apps work well every time with same Subaru head unit. Someone need to do honorable thing, admit that this app is screwed up and hire someone to fix it ASAP Update: on 2017 model year I actually found a use for this app, as an interface for iheartradio which is actually quite nice. But why is it not built in already like Pandora?

Wayne C: Went to subaru dealership, great cars and especially the SUV s but very bad starlink and gps! This made me turn away from sabaru vehicles

Shawn Hansen: Uses more battery thhan any other app, even when phone is nowhere near car, and I never use the app. Iforcwd it to stop, but I woke back up and drained my battery. Still deciding if there are any features worth having.

Steve Palmer: Will Not buy another Subaru if Mirrorlink doesn't work. 2017 Legacy will not link or even show as active with my Galaxy S5!

Alexander Kolomeets: You should be ashamed. My next car won't be a Subaru because of your flawed so-called infotainment system. Wish you to go bankrupt.

Eric Anderson: Anyone wanna join a class action suit? Subaru sold us on certain functionality and has failed to deliver . Fraud?

Syed Ali: This stupid app doesnt work. $33,000 legacy and it cant connect to a phone app. My freaken pickup truck seems to do better with a GM system.

Max Dann: The app doesn't do anything of value. I have no use for the calendar in my car and the idea of the music app is redundant when you have the phone connected via BT. Subaru needs to really re think this one, for example let me send an address from Google maps to the navigation system...

John Michalakes: I want my phone apps to display through the car's display. HYUNDAI figured this out with their SYNC system. C'mon Fuji Heavy Industries.

Mick Lasry: absolutely the worst system ever. I had it the whole unit removed and installed an android system that works beautifully.

Louis Hébert: I've gotten it to actually connect once in the three months that I've had the car. Normal bluetooth works great however.

: Someone failed their system engineering 101. This is basic V diagram integration path.

Don Leuenberger: Complete junk. Subaru should back ashamed to have their name on this.

Ian Weddell: A clunky integration method rendered obsolete by Android's own car app and vehicle embedded products.

Caio Campos: Embarrassing. Can't believe this is the best they can deliver in 2017.

: Did nothing. No improvements to what little actually worked.

Arvin Karibasic: Useless app. Actual Starlink security features are on the My Subaru app.

Mel Steinberg: There should be a class-action suit against Subaru for this piece of GARBAGE!!

: Absolute garbage. Don't bother installing, much less paying anything for it.

Stephen Wright: There are no functions on this app that make me want to keep it. I have an outback and need Android Auto.

Nepal Junky: developer please update to latest technology it looks like old and falure technology make it to work with google map

Darryn Liang: Very bad app, most of time don't work

Jeff Brock: Waste of time...mirror link too. Never works as it should.

steve ritsema: Unbelievably bad. Wow. Don't even bother
