Craig Farron: Brilliant chase hq robocop green beret uridium cool

Stephen Jacques: The must have EMU of 2014! Simply perfect in everyway!!! As a 40 year old gamer I'm blown away by the potential to relive those early gaming memories, when games were games, and the enjoyment was more than just graphics! Any gamer from the 'golden age' will have their favourite Speccy game (even if you played on the CPC 464 or C64) Now we can turn our Androids into the 'home computer' that, for me anyway, started my life-long obsession of 'gaming' This has to be one of, if not the best ZX emu out there! Slick UI, and more modern settings to get your games looking and playing the way you want from your smartphone. The days of Marvin are over - Long live Spectaculator!!! If I have one criticism, the built-in games would be nicer if we could separate them from our own game collection, say have a tab or folder for those and a different one for our games? As for everything else, its all top quality! Definite upgrade purchase for me! :-) The on-screen joystick works a treat, you can even add additional buttons! The good old rubber keyboard is fully functional for those RPG/Strategy games, and the additional screen display settings makes re-visiting the classics an absolute dream!!!

Stephen Foster: Very slick A very slick app that has top presentation. Couple of issues, as with so many game apps touchscreen controls awkward, better with a controller. The cost of game packs expensive and I prefer playing emulation via a windows pc/laptop with numerous roms available for no cost and much easier controls. Bought full version still as the app quality is superb and some games will be playable.

Alex Sutton: Needs extra options, quite slow at times A solid effort, looks awesome. Not seen an app presented so well before. However I think being able to load games from any directory is a must. Also seems to get major slowdown at times. Could be my phone but then a Spectrum emulator shouldn't be too taxing for my dual core 1.5ghz CPU!

John Town: AMAZING! Straight forwards app that's packed full of features and games. Takes the hassle out of loading and setting up allowing you to dive right in. I will admit I had my doubts at first, but no longer! The full version is only £2.49 and worth every penny! Mr Needle, from the bottom of my heart I would like to thank you very much!

Mark R. Jones: Great! This has replaced Marvin on my phone which I used to use. Fantastic to see this Android. One issue is sometimes the sound seems to play oddly. Like there's an echo to it and some distortion. Reloading the tape image usually fixes it though. HTC one x

Faber fox: Beautiful Not much to add, excellent all around emulator, glad to see it on android. My single criticism is about having to first upgrade to be able to see the price of extra packs.

Jason Skelly: Worth the wait and the money! :-) I've been using this emulator on the PC for several years, and I'm glad to see it's finally available on a proper smart phone OS like Android! :-)

Mark Garrett: Great way to play some classic games Takes me back to my youth playing games on my old rubber keyed spectrum. Fantastic!

Geoff Viggers: Does not recognise my files use other speccy emulators Needed help have not bothered to contact me back I want a refund

Brad Dean: Awesome You guys should also look at making emulators for other systems like the c64 too, because this is by far the most polished and best looking emulator on any platform I've ever used..

Lee Gale: More text adventures please Wonderful... Brings back great memories..

David Newman: Madness Why pay for this limited emulator when there are others on android for free which do so much more.

Robert Hewitt: This is brill Brill.

Kevin Phair: Really easy to get started and works great - A quality app! This version of Spectaculator lives up to the standards set by the PC version. It's possibly the best looking of all the Android-based Spectrum emulators I've tried and is a lot more user friendly in terms of controller setup with very clear and responsive on-screen controller/keyboard. It also works brilliantly with a bluetooth keyboard and the only complaint I could possibly level at it is that it could really do with some way of adding the ability to have folders in the game library so that the list can be organised according to our personal preferences. At just under €3 it's a bargain and a very small price to pay for the ability to add your own tapes and snapshots to the library.

Iain Ollerenshaw: Best Spec Emu on Android The best Windows Speccy emulator comes to Android in all its glory. Love it, love it, love it!

Sergio Zuniga: I like Google because it helps me a lot on my job It is great to look up stuff

Craig D: 5 stars. 2nd time purchaser. I also bought the Windows version. Excellent developer.... Just hope someday you can port the Windows version to Linux rather than running it via Wine.

Mark Shepherdson: good old skool gaming was a very good app on PC and this one on android runs very good

Robert John: Brilliant Emulator! Like Steve Anderson mentioned in his review, this is also my third Spectaculator purchase (Windows, iOS and now Android) because this emulator is second to none. For a first release on Android, this is an excellent emulator with fully configurable controls, spot-on graphics emulation and save game slots. Although I am experiencing intermittent sound crackling issues and sometimes it sounds like the sound is being played twice/echoed , I know the developer will address them in due course.

Steve Anderson: Absolutely excellent Third time I've given Mr Needle my hard-earned for his emulator, owning as I do the Windows and iOS versions. It's the emulator equivalent of a yard stick for others to be held against - you won't get a better Speccy emulator. Now, where's the Raspberry Pi version to complete the set, eh? ;)

DKTronics70: Nice emulator As others have already said, this is a great emulator and possible the best now on Android. But, and it's only a small but, IMHO, charging for game packs -especially after one has purchased the emulator - is a bit rich, especially when all these games are FREE! on WOS. Also, and this isn't just aimed at Spectacular, writing the cost of the emulator somewhere, anywhere, on the Playstore would have been nice. This is one of my major problems with the Playstore in that, you have to download, install, then go in-game to see prices.

Stuart Sinclair: GalaxyS3 Gamer Its great to see a selection of speccy games on the playstore. This app will be a good one,its well mapped out and the layout is great. Well done.

Mark P: Super cool I love the retro games now my 11 year old son can have fun playing the games I grew up with.

sotiris dfg: great emulator! i bought it with my eyes closed 😀 works perfect on my nexus 7, you can map keyboard keys to extra virtual joystick buttons too! easy to load your own games! ps. it would be good to be able showing folders in games list for easier navigation of roms, thank you

: My Fav Spectrum Emulator Now On Android :-) What are you waiting for Spec-chums ? Install it now !

Howard Warren: Don't Bother. This is not a stand alone emulator where you can simply load up a game of your choice and off you go. Rather, this is a cunning ploy to get you online, parting with money before you an utilise the program. I wouldn't bother with it if I were you. If I could give it a no star rating, I would.

: Rubbish Won't let me to loads any of my own game that I bought rom for PC. So looking for other emulator that will run the ROM from my SD card.

MrGBlox Reviews: So I love the original gameplay just the keyboard is weird so

Riobear1 _ Gaming: Brilliant I have a emulator on my PC like this and this is so similar which is great

andy swindells: Wow just wow This takes me back everything there. Superb.

: Paul Stewart This emulator is one of the best out there.

tri sakti Wibowo: I hated this game 🙍 A crazy okay

george Mcneill: A real jump back in time , all my favorate childhood games .

Anthony Addison: Its not a bad app Cool

Grenville Hamilton: Love old school classi

Colin Wilson: Only, possibly, any use if you upgrade

Seth Cunningham: Love it It was great

Eric Morales: 😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😕😕😕😕😕😕😕😕😕 I am not sure about it
