Thanks<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Dave Watson:</span> Not to shabby . . . . took a little fiddling to get it to work with my nexus 5/SLT-A58. when i got it running it worked well, the tap to Focus then the tap to shoot is a bit frustrating until you get the hang of it. I'd like to use it just as a commander, it could get a bit messy if you take lots of frames and use the phone storage. Remember to set the mode to JPEG if you want the preview. And i recently i bought a SONYa58. when i was searching for a shutter cable in net i noticed this software. i downloaded and installed. And with the help of OTG cable i connected my phone. its waiting waiting for more time. It loads with(..........................................) dots like this. It goes for 'n' number of lines. After some time it shows as RCCDROID is not responding. And now i fixed it. i changed my camera settings. I changed the usb settings in camera from AUTO to PC-REMOTE. And now it works well. i have to take many shots with this. Lemme try out and if there any bugs i will inform. Cheers. Thanks a lot for this software. When i take a photos in my camera it stores in my phone memory. What should i do to store in memory card which is inside the camera. This app is exactly what Sony should have released with the a58 when they decided to change the remote interface. Their PC app is fine but almost useless if you want to do long exposure photography outdoors. Thank you so much to the developer! The app has a ton of potential but it seems to function exactly as advertised. What more can you ask for? You'll need a UTG USB adapter and a USB micro cable for this to work. You can avoid buying the UTG adapter (a whopping $5 online) by going the DIY route and modify a couple of cables to create your own "Frankencable." That's the route I went because I like to tinker and didn't feel like waiting but simply buying an adapter is easier. It's working with my Droid RAZR M and I plan on trying it out more fully tonight. Being even subtly aggressive to your users is bad customer service, period.
