Land Rover InControl Apps enables you to use vehicle optimised smartphone apps on the vehicle's touch screen by connecting your smartphone with a USB cable to the dedicated InControl Apps USB port. Only a few apps available and their functionality is limited, at best. Poor use of car screen. I've just bought a new discovery sport and have to say that the infotainment is at least 5yrs behind BMW, Merc, Audi, Volvo and Porche, ie all the main rivals.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Abhimanyu Chandra:</span> Easy and safe! Allows me to use some pretty good apps while on the road, without fiddling with my phone, and eyes off the phone. InControl needs to include pandora, a news service and weather to provide value. What a complete waste of money. Would love to get my $450 back for the option.
