When idols die - legends are born!More than 25 years ago Armin Gessert developed with GIANA SISTERS one of the first Jump'n Run games for the Commodore C64. The console manufacturers got anxious and tried to stop the sisters. The end seemed close. But they failed and GIANA SISTERS with packaging has become a rare collector's item.
The legend is back, better and bigger than ever before. To use the potential of current devices we improved the graphics and controls. Today the game captivates through its full HD graphic and a new userfriendly menustructure.
The game offers everything a real Jump'n Run game needs. Perfectly balanced for hours of fun on all current Android devices (> 4.0).

The character design is nicely modern with the enemies being varied. The upgrade to Punk Giana sister gives the appropriate feeling of power. The platforming and puzzles are good (up to World 3-3). There are IAP, but it is not forced in your face and it says it is for Level Pack 1 - and I have no idea what it does and haven't noticed any gates to gameplay. Their are some issues: - jumping is a little analog it feels. There is also a weird animation at the top of the jump which makes the jumping not feel good - If you are near the edge of a ledge and you jump, you can get stuck in the roof. This in Level 3-2, where I jumped through the geometery to the top of the level - sometimes the screen flips or controls lock up so you keep walking in a particular direction, which has lead to several lost lives. I downloaded it because I had the original back in the 80s and was curious, but it turns out this is a truly excellent platformer in its own right. Good intuitive controls, very accessible, lots of challenges, great graphics and music. A couple of minor performance issues on one level where there are lots of sprites on screen, but otherwise fantastic!<br /><br /><span style="color:red">:</span> Great Game Love the game it's very addicting. Could use better controls, the jump button doesn't always respond. Also it's so frustrating when trying to jump over gaps and there's an object over your head its almost impossible to do it without hitting your head on that object. Actually it's annoying as I find it a lot throughout the game. Would be nice if there was ledge to put you even slightly beyond the object overhead so you have a better chance of not hitting it causing you to take a dive. The game itself is smooth and runs well on my Jellybean Galaxy Nexus, but the controls are laggy to the point that the game is unplayable. The movement controls require you to swipe to the left or right depending on the direction you want to go and this makes movement imprecise. A d-pad style control with the option of swiping might work better. Also, jumping and firing take a little while to actually happen, so I find myself falling off ledges and missing things a lot.Frustrating. [Edit: Controls are working fine now with the latest update. Unfortunately it seems the keyboard controls still aren't really working. The arrow keys can control directions fine but there are no buttons to jump or shoot fireball with. The game tells you to use O to jump and A to shoot, and it took me a couple of minutes to finally realise those are controls for the Ouya controller, not the keyboard...<br /><br /><span style="color:red">A Google User:</span> Finally After quite a long time the game is finally fixed and with improved controls.
