The app when opened kept saying "crash data" and also gave us "unfortunately, filip has stopped" messages and it kept freezing up with a white screen or blue. The gps was off even at home, it never let us see the radius or change it, never never updated even when we had left home still showed he was several streets in back of our home.And never notified us about a thing, unreliable app n unsafe to depend on!<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Darren Halstead:</span> Great concept, terrible app. The app seems to work okay for iOS device, however on my Nexus 5X it is very buggy. Now it crashes every time I log in. Before, it "only" wouldn't show me the maps or where my child was. This app has been buggy and frustrating to use since the day I installed it. Hopefully, they will fix the bugs and make it at least somewhat useful.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">DJ Windle:</span> Needs improvements I have had to uninstall and reinstall the app several times because it would freeze on a blue screen. Its not very good at pinpointing exactly where he is at, sometimes its even wrong. Sometimes I can barely understand what he's saying over the phone even with it up to his mouth. It stopped working for no reason after only 6 months (no damage). Company told us to send it to them so we did. But then they said they wouldn't replace it cause it looked like we tried to take the back off when we never did.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Bill Blandford:</span> Update not compatible with newest android version 4.0.15 update force closes on android 6.0.1 devices so I had to resort to find an apk of previous app version online and sideload. They emoved gps to narrow down a SafeZone spot in the latest release. The addresses are inaccurate and show up a few blocks away. There is no way to move the pin 📌 on map. 500 feet zone becomes JOKE, when you cannot define Safe Zone with 5,000 feet accuracy. 4) Cannot remove inactive watch and it keeps crashing the app<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Adam Ziarnik:</span> App is unusable with Marshmallow 6.0.1 App force closes immediately upon sign in. The location of our child is supposed to refresh within an hour or so and we might get one refresh per day. It's just not as reliable as it was previously. The batteries die after about 6 or 8 hours. Att customer service got us a new one but before we picked it up the 2nd one broke. App didn't load all the time. I would send up date location request and it would do nothing. Some times it would work. The text is limited to just a couple words and the kids can not texting back. The microphone was intermittent and would only hear some of the conversation. It worked great at first but since the latest update I have been unable to use it at all. My devices don't show up, my map doesn't fill in and I can't text my kiddos anymore. I know my phone is obsolete but I was hoping the app would continue to be compatible since most others I have are. Please fix the issue so my kids and I can enjoy using the filip phonewatches as we did when we initially purchased them. I've tried reinstalling app but doesn't fix it. My daughter came from her school at home and still this stupid app showing her at school. There are emotional values attached to it when we talk about kids. Such errors cannot be accepted.
