How to install EasyCap Viewer apk for android
- For Android 4.0 or higher:Please to Settings, look down to Security, and select Unknown sources. Choosing this choice will enable to install apps download from the internet.
- For devices running on lower Android 4.0:
Please go to Settings - open the Applications option, and select Unknown sources, click OK on the popup alert.
EasyCap Viewer Description
This is an Android application to display analogue video signal from a USB EasyCap Device which is connected via OTG to: a smart phone, tablet device or a tv box in NTSC or PAL video format.ONLY for EasyCap versions with chips: utv007(HTV600) has been supported at this moment.
(We strongly recommend to use chip UTV007(HTV600) to avoid the conflict of usb devices)
Suitable for: car back camera, FPV(SBS google Cardboard support), endoscopy and in home security (intercom connection).
Please be sure that your device supported USB host mode, before you purchase or update this app prepare OTG cable+EasyCap device + active analogue signal for test, if does not work - send us report directly from the main menu of the app and reject the order until we check your report. We cannot refund.

The suggestion was that the hardware on my chosen android device was the issue, being a MediaTek device. Apparently there's no support in the hardware for the required functions. What I wanted to do was validate that the Easycap device I had was the correct one because popping the top off showed it to have the required UTV007 chipset. After persuading my teenage brat to allow me a few moments with her precious Galaxy S7, I could determine that the software and device work perfectly as expected. As such, it would be unfair to poorly rate the app, just because it doesn't work on my devices of choice, especially with email support on a Sunday, that was appreciated! Just for reference, the recommendations are: snapdragon intel exynos nvidia without "mali" videoprocessor 400-series Edit to add, I've just powered up an old HTC One X with Nvidia and it works fine on that.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Chris Vanek:</span> Great app works on most devices Works great on my Samsung Galaxy S6 and Tab S.
