There are a lot of positive people to talk to with great stories and advice. I haven't experienced many pop up ads. It was a little difficult to figure out how to edit my profile.

Kevin Peiffer: Slightly disappointed Displays differently on my phone than on my tablet... no profile pic even when connected to fb, difficult to navigate thru on mobile. Will keep because out of all the other similar apps this seems to work best... if any other users have better luck with this app or find a better please lemme know.

Susan Davenport: Not a bad way to go I live more than 2 hours from s support group. This is a good way to get information, ask questions of others that are either where I'm at or just ahead of me. Like no one said anything to me about potential hair loss, or changes in the taste of food. I found out about that here. I like that maybe some of these might even become real friends. Everyone on the sight is helpful, and all though I am just getting started, I have found some who just need a shoulder to cry on. I have big shoulders.

Sharelyn Henrnandez: Helpful It's nice to know that there's someone out there who's been there done that. I love this sight has been so helpful to me through all my stages of lap band. Thank you so much !

Jill C: Failure to Launch Can't set up profile. App looks like nothing in the pics. Can't load pic. Can't follow up easily with people I started conversations with. If I wanted to talk on computer,I wouldn't have bothered to download phone app. Waste of time. Easier to hang out with U-tubers who've been thru the process.

B Colbert: Too many ads, not enough function There are ads every two seconds. The app doesn't have a tutorial and it takes a lot of tinkering to figure out. Even the forums are full of ads. Not easy to actually get to the information you need.

Hope Labriola: Info I just use this app for questions and if I feel like I'm the only one. I haven't joined or commented but jus for comfort it has helped me.

Chell B: Needs better navigation I found this app for help and advice pre and post surgery. The thing I dont like is the people I was talking to pre surgery I now cant find post surgery. You build a bond and then cant find them to see how they are doing post surgery. Also hard to locate discussions you were following

Lydiah Harmon: Like it but I like it, i enjoythe connect that can be created between people going through simlar situtations. Only issue i have is its not very user friendly. I am unable to update my profile, unable to add a photo to it. Its frustrating.

Pat B: Bariatric Pal Great resource from real pre-op and post op patients experiencing radical change in their lives, that massive weight loss brings about. *one pet peeve I'm frustrated because I can't reply to posts that I began, without being on a computer! In this age of technology we should be able to use a tablet or phone to have full access to the site!!

Jessica Garber: App really doesn't work. When you touch app icon it takes you to a Web browser. Not very user friendly. I prefer using computer for this sight but that is not always convinent. I do love the site itself for the information and connections you can make.

Kristi Lindsey: Disappointed I was very excited about this app, as I am planning surgery and was looking forward to a community of support. However, after the first time I logged off, I was unable to log in again, meet with a user error starting my user name or password was incorrect. This was foreshadowed by password issues during my initial login (repeatedly starting my passwords did not match). This truly is a shame, as I had every intention of becoming a very active user of this app.

M Wright: Ads I'vee installed this twice and both times I removed it because I can't even get into Batiatricpal. An ad pops up (and yes, my ad setting is turned off but apparently this doesn't apply to Adkins ads) and I exit out of that ad and the app shuts down. Forget it. :(

Samirah Clinton: Great App It's not a difficult App. I like it. I'd love it with 5 stars if there was a way to get alerts on only the posts I've posted on or if I could go straight to the replies when I click on the link.

Millie Meley: Gastric Sleeve I was sleeved on Sept.10, 14. I started losing weight in Jan last year. I had no choice. Lose or die. Then I join the Bariatric Surgery Center the end of March. The rest was, My journey to health. I started out at 285. I was 271 when I joined Bariatric Surgery Center. I lost 57 lbs from Àpril- to Surgery day. Today I am down to 177.1. I got 37.1 lbs to go,It has been a hard journey for me to lose the weight. I am 65 soon to be 66. And the weight is coming off in Oz's. But I am determine it will come off.

Anna Melissa Outten: Could be more user friendly and have better options/functions. A great community though.

Nancy Paulsen: From diet to insurance I loved this app. From diet to insurance questions answered. Even met others in my area and found support group. In the end denied by insurance, but so glad I found this app.

Troy McKenzie: What I've been looking for! I had my VSG on February 14th 2015 at the age of 36/37. I know that's probably young compared to most but my BMI was over 40 and didn't like my family health history looming over me. Hope this app keeps me in tune with helpful people while I recover to solid foods status!

Jannette Dorman: Ease of use This is not the most user friendly app around. But, one you get used to it there is a ton of information to be found.

Reagan Caldwell: Love it but.. I really love all the info but on my mobile app, I cannot comment... That should be an easy technical fix.. I think lol. Other than that, great info and wonderful people with a lot of information to help one on their journey.

Marquita Fields: Love this App Amazing application for any one considering or has had any type of weight loss surgery!

cindy dionne: Good info. But can't use it Hard to use can't make a profile can not interact with people very hard to use

jo shoshani: Loads of great information from people that have gone or going through wls. Friendly people that are happy to share.

Sosha Morris: Great app So much support for questions, doubts, and fears . This app had helped me so much!

Li Lo: Great support This forum has been a life saver. Make friends with those going through the same life changes as yourself.

Grimlin Kanobie: Cool place Ads in forum can be misunderstood by newbies, which could lead to a dangerous situation.

Nancy Esposito: Could be better The app is not easy to use and there are no directions. No one to contact with questions

CJ Porter: Great resource for bariatric patients! I am 7 weeks out from having a sleeve gastrectomy.
