Natalie Vincent: Crap Can't get a train , always not available

Christina Holmes: Won't let me buy tickets to Liverpool Tried so many ways won't let me buy a ticket at all to get to Liverpool such a disappointment

Chris Emmerson: now working....

Eduardo S: Terrible Updated phone and app would not allow me to log in. Works on browser. Now have no access to my m-tickets. Pice of $hit app

N Ha: Purchase not allowed?!!! Euston to Barmouth, not available to purchase. OK, great. APP WASTE OF TIME....

Tracey Lintern: Clunky but useful Downgraded to a 1☆ due to my tickets disappearing daily. Enticed by the "half price", cheaper by the dozen offer I abandoned my season ticket in favour of this. It is is not user friendly and 99% of the time the bar code does not scan at the gates in Cardiff. I do worry about phone failure as the tickets are not held online though. However, it is cheap and convenient. Time will tell on its cost effectiveness after the offer finishes. Ideal though for semi-regular travellers.

owain bayliss: Poor App and poor service Having bought tickets and used a lot I click on 'old stuff' and started to delete tickets, after 3 tickets were deleted I noticed that after clicking 'old stuff' it shows unused and used tickets. So I deleted 3 unused tickets. Contacted Arrival Trains Wales and there response was that it was tough and I would not be refunded any money. Very poor service from them considering there is a major bug in the app. Why would an app allow you to delete something that has not been used?

Simon Bradwick: A long way to go Not much thought has been given to the design of this app. Tickets that you buy are listed alphabetically - would be a lot better if grouped in journeys. The lack of thought is found in all areas of the app. Not good enough considering what TFL are doing with Oyster.

Wyn Jones: Needs work Used tickets should really disappear automatically after a certain number of days instead of having to be removed manually. The return halves of the tickets should not all be at the bottom. It's easy to activate the wrong half. Really like the reduced cost!

Joshua Stacey: Needs improving ASAP The app works. I can get ticket details up when I need to collect tickets at the station, and I can get live times. But the lack of back-up/cloud facilities for storing multiflex tickets is a massive issue. My previous phone had to be reset numerous times due to power issues, which meant my entire phone was wiped, including all of the unused tickets. After downloading and logging in again, the tickets were gone, but showed that they had been purchased. Other than that flaw it's an ok app for some functions.

Kristofer Bowers: Price gone up The price has gone up so much recently. It's cheaper to buy weekly on train even if you have to miss a day during the week. Go back to being roughly same price as weekly please. Then it will go back to 5 star.

Carlos Sainz-Simmonds: Both really good, and really bad Firstly, the tickets on the multiflex are a bargain, and offer more flexibility than a season ticket. The tickets are also quick to activate end route to my station. However, the app will only let me buy for Arriva only journeys. There is also a huge bug in the used and unused tickets part of the app. I've accidentally deleted new tickets in error before. Also, the phone uses up my battery so quickly, I have to show my ticket to the conductor as I get onboard. Also, the codes never scan at the stations.

Rhian Cocker: Where's my station? The app needs to be updated to show Pye Corner station! Please hurry up with this!

James Williams: Great savings Great app to buy train tickets when you don't use the train enough to buy a season ticket. Easy and effective app.

Steve Anderson: Truly awful app Good idea, but the implementation is awful in so many ways. 1: If you read the T&Cs and then go back to finish purchase, you must start again (after entering card details). 2: If you inadvertently select a train within the next 10 mins when you try and buy flex tickets, you must start again (again, after card details). 3: Enforces weak passwords on server if you save card details. 4: Update Android, lose your tickets. 5: Font too small for staff to read. 6: Impossible to get through station barriers. 💩

Ben Davies: Are you having a laugh!!! Price has rocketed up by £7 for my weekly ticket since last week????

Kieran Lewis: Surprise surprise... Prices suck, service sucks and guess what, this app sucks!

Richard Davies: Valleys Student Railcard missing The Valleys Student Railcars is missing from the Railcard list

Mark James Cooper: Good 2 no Cool

Leigh Price: Easy and quick

Matthew Wilkes: Super useful. Great time and money saver. Been using e-tickets from this app for a few months now and it has been a great time and money saver. Looking forward to being able to actually scan my phone to get through the gates in Cardiff. I have so far only had one conductor not know that I could use this. Only gripe with this is I have to buy my tickets in batches of 6 returns. It would be great to get a months worth all together or need able to buy singles. Not a huge problem though.

Paul Harley: Useless for buying tickets! A useful app for journey planning and live train times. However, as others have commented, it's useless for buying tickets as the message "Purchases are not available for this route and time" is displayed whatever journey I plan. Why don't the developers sort this out? It's been like this for over six months - ATW must have lost loads of commission on ticket sales as a result of this problem!

Nelson Felix Gigante: Good app but lacking proper storage functionality Had to factory reset my mobile due to other problems, once this app was re-installed all tickets were gone, this app needs a proper server sync were data is stored in cloud.

kim mears: Okay but still buggy Good little app but can be problematic. Took battery out of phone because phone froze and then my active ticket was deactivated by the app. But found out tickets can be transferred to another phone :)

Thomas Espley: Arriva - worst company ever Your train service is an absolute joke. I'd be ashamed. Delays and cancellations every time I travel without explanation or communication. Expected trains just disappear from the board after being shown as 'on time' until 10 mins after they were due. Terrible.

A Google User: Cymro57 I like the app BUT given Arriva serves Welsh speaking areas AND Welsh speakers throughout Wales, why isn't the app bilingual?

Sam Williams: Useless for journey planning I wanted to plan a return journey but there was no way to get past the outward journey screen to see the times for return journeys. Message at the bottom of the screen said purchases were not possible for this route / time. Uninstalling and going back to the National Rail app.

Danny Withington: Can't buy tickets/methu prynu tocynnau A good app for checking train running and single journeys, but unusable to buy tickets, as every result has no available tickets. Ap dim ar gael yn Gymraeg.

Lyndon Watkins: Great start - but a few teething issues Bit of a battery killer (probably the GPS usage). Also annoying that you can't transfer tickets to a new device or hold them in an online account as I need to reset my phone but can't until I've used all my m-Tickets. Also need to remove the restriction that I can't buy tickets and use them on the same day.

Ashley Cheek: "Tickets not available..." Why is the UK rail network unable to provide e tickets for a train later today. I can get one from the station, or a ticket machine, but this much less convenient than buying a ticket over breakfast or on the way there.

Kevin Richards: Arriva are starting to annoy me, couldn't find my Ticket ref number so i thought I'd go on my email on Phone, no confirmation email was sent out to me. That meant I couldn't get on Train and missed 2 days work because I was 200 miles away and next cheap Ticket was for 2 days later, now their app don't work, can't buy tickets.

Robert Hayden: Finally an official app Been using this as a rail planner and seems to be as good if not better than paid for apps which are currently on the market place

Paul Houston-Jones: Doesn't work Its rubbish. Cant buy the multi but tickets and staff haven't got a clue.

Sophie Hutchins: The child option does not work

Bryn Lewis: No tickets available Checked on a number of times. Same answer. No tickets for this route

Tehfoor Javeed: ARRIVA trains wales It helps me to keep train times on my phone

Ellis Beare: Better than the rest

Joanne Morris: Poor and no longer cheaper Lots of bugs and poor layout. Glitches constantly and have even ended up deleting unused tickets as they'd been bundled in altogether with the used ones - no way to retrieve these and no refunds available from ATW. I used the App up until October as it worked out cheaper than a weekly but don't bother anymore as the price has shot up and it's now more expensive so why bother! Barcodes never scanned at the ONE Cardiff Central barrier which even allowed scanning either - awful.

Richard Humphreys: Rubbish App....The Trainline is better I've only ever been able to purchase tickets once with this app. All other times I have tried it says "purchase not available" and this is for same day tickets or in advance.... yet the same tickets can be bought from other ticket apps such as The Trainline. I won't be using this again unless Arriva can come up with some major update!!!

Rebecca Davies: Transformed my train journey Cheaper tickets at a frequency that suits my erratic office attendance. Easy to use and reliable. Happy customer.
