Vincent Lange: Everything I need It does exactly what I need, adding transactions on the go and allowing to check budget balances. Shame to hear that they are moving to a sub fee model but this will still be here so don't ruin the rating of this app because of it. Other than what I hear is automatic importing of bank transactions, I'm not going to be missing out on much.

Kenji Achiles: Simplicity at its finest I've been using YNAB 4 for a whole year now across several phones and a couple computers. It is amazing; it's simple to set up on your computer, once you have the companion app to match- it's perfection. YNAB's 4 simple rules is what every budget should be built on, set this up and this will never fail you. I know exactly where my money goes, entering income and expenses is second nature to me now. This won't fix your spending habits, , but now you're more aware of them so you can take control.

Bharatt Wadhavana: Limited app functionality It is a pity the company has decided to charge an annual subscription of $50. I think it is too steep price and will only shoo away lots of loyal customers. I had infact paid for there desktop version but I guess it was not a good investment.

Cameron Evans: Who needs nYNAB?! I'm not so sold on the new YNAB so I'm sticking with the supposed classic version and YNAB4. Once they get some more features for nYNAB then I might pay. For now this app can do it all and is awesome.

ECHOO SUI: Not quite an informed decision to move to subscription-based model. YNAB was brilliant until money became a prominent key factor. Not saying that money should come second. It's only when users' satisfaction falls too far behind the financial factor, will they realize that these twos go together hand-in-hand.

Liow WS: Don't get the new YNAB until all the issues are resolved. For optimum utilization rate of the new app, wait till all issues are resolved before hopping over, which will take from weeks to months. (Learnt this from YNAB itself - always ensure that every dollar is working hard for what you have paid!)

Булат Хакимов: Drops the database regularly I receive the re-import database quite a lot only after I log the transaction, that is lost and needs to be re-logged. But from the last time, I have lost ALL THE TRANSACTIONS FOR ALMOST ALL DARN YEAR! All transactions from end of January to 31.10.2016 are just flushed! I'm outraged.

BRZ BOXER: Best app This is my life.. this app has made my life so much better with my money. Now I can save more and invest but still have that social life. I recommend this app to everyone but you need to stick by your budget and your goals.

Marco polo: Great. I've been using YNAB (classic) for about 2 years. I finally took the leap & migrated to the New YNAB. It's even better than I anticipated. The goal feature (especially for debt repayment) is priceless! Love the new UI, everything. Good job & keep it up YNAB team :)

Paras Shah: Needs more attention I love YNAB, not this app, but will stick with it to avoid the fee. As you are supporting this until the end of the year, can you please add the totals to each category, as you do with the apple app? For example using your snapshots here, I'd like to see one for "everyday expenses" & " monthly bills". Ignoring the needs to Android users is short sighted.

Kamal Kowsar: The best personal finance app This companion android app of You Need A Budget is a perfect solution for budget conscious people. Scanning invoice feature should be added and Google Drive and One Drive integration beside Dropbox will be more helpful.

Angelica .Scholts: This app allows me to do all that I would need on the go, anything else and I normally am already on my laptop to implement any changes. I have managed to minimise debt and save £500 so far, more than I ever hoped to achieve. Saying that, I only just recently purchased YNAB and now I will need to pay an additional $45 a year to continue using YNAB. Very disappointed with this.

Meg P: Back stab YNAB used to be aggressively against business models like this, and suddenly it has become one. Being sent down a cattle chute into a high dollar subscription with less functionality isn't the company I signed up with. Any ideas for a budgeting app which does better with a business? Done with YSTAB.

Kristy W: I love this app. Its so easy to use. A great program that really is designed to keep you on budget. I love that if I want to purchase something I can look at my budget and it's helped cut down the impulse spending.

Elisa Tasko: Noooo ! Subscription model kills it! I have been using YNAB since 2011 and have gone through 2 updates with them.expensive but it has been worth it. But there's no way I'm going to pay $60 a year to do my budgeting! YNAB taught me the value of each dollar and that is not good value for the money! Why did they sellout and get so greedy!

Spencer McClendon: Snatch and Grab! Really saddened that you now want me to pay $50 a year for something I expected to be free. I guess it's my bad for trusting your company. I'll stay on YNAB4 until I find something can replace a once great app.

Ben Latour: Great system. Great app. As a student, I've had to learn to budget. You could say I needed a budget. Guess what? I still do! YNAB and this seamless app have made my life so much easier, on top of helping me save my money and my sanity. I don't look forward to moving on to the new YNAB (whatever that is), but I imagine it'll be for the best, despite the added cost.

S: Works great, fantastic for trips So far I really love the app. Helps me stay in-budget when I am running around. Would love a feature that shows scheduled transactions, though.

Jelle De Laet: Really great app, does had to be used along with the pc version. Since this is soley a way to input expenses etc. It takes a bit of getint used to but it offers really good feedback on your cash flow

Leon Williams: Angry/sad I suspect you have totally misunderstood your customer base and left many feeling betrayed with the subscription model. We were sold the product as a 60 dollar upfront cost and no need to upgrade to new versions as you would continue supporting old versions - and now this? Seems like Jesse wants to cash out. Don't make promises you can't keep

Keith Goring: Monthly subscriptions! Paid for the app originally and it was not cheap. Why should we have to pay a monthly fee now! The new service provides less functions than the old one. Plus you have slapped a massive classic logo on it. You wouldn't bring a new car out and slap a classic logo on the old car!

Jesse Gish: I was super stoked about YNAB but I can't even get the app to work. Stuck at the Dropbox connect screen (keeps failing to connect). The idea is marvelous and I'm sure the PC app is splendid but unfortunately I don't have daily access to a computer with Internet access. I will have to use Mint seeing as this app is dead.

Craig Jager: Love the app/software, NOT the new plan! The software has helped incredibly and I enjoy using it. This is one piece of software I am happy to pay for... once! Disappointed to see the new payment design; I need to create a new budget category now. This isn't Adobe CC you know!

Jack R: Subscription model is stupid. You're also asking too much money. Why bother budgeting if you're just going to piss your money down the toilet on stuff like this? I'm now looking for a new budgeting app.

Alex H.: I started a trial of YNAB today on my PC. It suggests I use the YNAB app to keep on top of actual spending. I couldn't install the latest YNAB app, because my phone is a tad older. So, I tried this classic version. Upon startup, it prompts me to login to Dropbox. I don't know why.

K Wells: Greedy and Unsafe Switching to a subscription service AND forcing me to store my financial information on YOUR online servers? No thanks. Not only that but the current app still doesn't allow budget manipulation yet you roll out a more expensive subscription version... that has FEWER features. I am DONE with ynab. Way to alienate your customer base. Who thought this was a good idea? $65/year with the exchange, pretty rich for a company that preaches frugality.

Andy W: Brilliant Can't wait until the new YNAB is able to import bank transactions. People who don't think £5 a month for it must be using a different product. Cheers

Euan Rowlands: Could be better. Only allows you to add transactions, no capability to manage the budget. Also it can get stuck on payee / transfer and won't let you select a category on any new transaction, which makes it useless.

Hugh McSweeney: Just a few months left of support Called "YNAB Classic" because of a flash of creative stupidity. Annoying those who, like ynab did in previous years, hate the subscription model.

Mikhail Zub: Sync? I like desktop software, but for mobile to have sync only with Dropbox? Not talking about monopoly here, but if user working with another cloud application? Whole point of Mobile app was about sync and if you don't have Dropbox, then you don't need this app.

Anthony Osinski: Please resolve this bug..... The app will not allow me to clear transactions that have split transfers. It gives me an error that says 'no category is selected' Please resolve and I will update my review.

Stephen Tipton: App being abandoned. Beware! 1-28-16 EDIT. Dropping from 4 stars to 1. Classic app support is being ended this year, and they are pushing a new subscription plan instead. Abandoning a paid app to push users to a subscription app. Not cool.

Mauricio Reis: Good one Very nice app, use it with the old desktop version of YNAB. Have some small issues and ocasionaly delays to sinc. Still recomended.

Mark Dent: Ynab Office 365 individual is $70 a year. How ynab thinks $50 a year is acceptable makes me stay with classic and looking for thrifty options. YNAB has gone corporate and too expensive.

Xacobe Vilas G: Betrayed loyal customer who paid upfront New business model punishes loyal old customers who paid for a lifetime license. Why? Read the following copied from the YNAB website "We’ll officially support YNAB 4 until December 31, 2016—fixing mission-critical bugs, making sure the apps work great and answering all your support questions. After 2016, we will no longer push updates to YNAB4". I wish a class action lawsuit starts, I'll gladly join.

Sharleen Bailey: Best budget app I've found this to be invaluable! Since starting last year to keep a budget I have paid 10k off in debt and this app has helped every step of the way. I haven't had any trouble syncing with my computer.

Matt Vanderville: Have to rate low due for business decision changes. Well, I'm glad they're going to "support" Classic through the end of 2016, that allows me time to find an alternative to YNAB since they've moved to a subscription model. Disappointing. Back to Excel, I guess.

Jose Valiente: Great app to track finances Keep within a budget. Able to see your money status. Highly recommended the app. Simple to use.

Gayan Kalinga: Thanks for updating this app .why didnt you include widget.what evee nice work guys keep up.. Well I dont like your new payment plans...and need to know that will this get updated or not in the future

Elizabeth Ross: Useful I've been using this app for over a year now and have tried many others like it. We ended up with this one because of the one time payment instead of a yearly membership fee. It is useful and easy to use. The only thing we absolutely hate about it is you have to do your monthly budgeting on a desktop. If you are traveling without a computer it makes things quite difficult. Also there isn't a transfer money option which isn't that big of a deal but annoying to me. We will most likely keep this app forever.
