I'm disappointed. While the interface looks nice some serious basic problems exist. The most frustrating is setting your default Bible. After setting a default Bible and then opening a book, the default works once or twice and then reverts back to first on the list. I've tried numerous times to reset this basic feature without any improvement. Next the bookmarks don't work on what seems like books that have been previously downloaded to my device. It appears to work on newly downloaded books. Both of these issues worked much better on the older version. There's more but simply addressing these two basic features would be a great help

Bonnie Williams: I am very happy with this app. There are a few tricks to downloading it and using it, but very good help can be found on their website. On home page, on the left hand side, click on Android app. Scroll down a bit and click on one of the 3 categories of help: Getting Started, Installation, and Quick Tips. After following their instructions, the app works very well for me. I love being able to read all my resources from my tablet and phone. Thanks so much WordSearch!

tracey marin: Serves the purpose of Reading books I just downloaded the app and I already feel a bit frustrated while using it. I am a person who prefers to have the physical textbook; however, some of my books are only available as e-books. With that in mind, I am looking for a simple e-reader. An app that is well organized, easy to access purchased items, notes, highlights, etc... There is no help option, notes are only accessible and changeable via desktop version. I can't tell if I am actually offline reading my downloaded books. It could be much better, but right now I am disappointed, and a little anxious about having to use this app when I do not have computer access.

Raymond Hubbard: I have Wordsearch 11 on my Windows 10 computer and it works fine. The Wordsearch App allows me to read a lot on my books on Android Tablet. Problem is some of the books download but won't load. I can stream the book but I want to take the tablet with me to work offline. Possibly for some Bible Study and Bible Classes. Reported it to technical support. Also why do you have to log in with the Lifeway store first, then Wordsearch with a second log in. Lifeway needs to fix the app for offline use. The app could be excellent if Lifeway can fix these problems.

Pastor Robert Stegemann: Will not work I spoke to the WS and was told that no effort was put toward making it run correctly on tablets. The older version had problems but books could be downloaded and sometimes ran. . Now, nothing runs. My question is why would a product be released that most people cannot use. (see comments ) I work overseas and need Bible software that functions. So, with that in mind, may I recommend Logos or for a low cost program called MySword.

Jeff Marshall: Worst bible study app ever Come on guys you can do much better then this. Spend some of the money you have on making this thing at least work. From a long time wordsearch user. Life way has spent more on their book store app then they have here very apparent.

Katherine McKinney: Constantly Stops Working About three times now, I have downloaded my book to read offline. Each time, it does not work and comes up with a blank screen, even after I get back online. I have to uninstall and reinstall the app to get it to work again. It's especially frustrating when I'm trying to read for class. Needs to be fixed immediately.

Helmut Gutwein: More progress! Can download and open 'The Portable Seminary' now. It is large! But text is on top of one another often. Sometimes clears after a while.

Curt Castillo: No comparison to Windows version Features and adaptability are quite limited. I expected a scaled-down version, but this even makes access to the content challenging. Was hoping for a mobile version of Wordsearch - a great study tool. Android version is not quite fully baked, yet. We'll see how they do with time and feedback.

Scott Roberts: Could Be Much Better I have purchased a lot of commentaries on the desktop version and hope one day that this mobile version will be better. As many have stated already, the app crashes and books sometimes don't open. There are free Bible apps that work better.

Rod Hook: Finally figured it out? Had to set up a LifeWay account, and after doing so, was able to log into my Wordsearch account. The instructions on Wordsearch don't agree with what I see on my Android device. Maybe it will get better as they improve the software.

Ollie Christoper: Downloads Praise Good, they finally fixed the android app so I can now download books to read off line. Thanks to the tech support "guys". I love the app now they fixed the only problem I had with app.

Michael Risser: Disappointing I can't give more than one star to an app that won't even allow me to login with the same username and password I use on the website. I'm very disappointed in this app.

Jeffrey Dalton: It won't let me login! I have tried to log in several times with no success on my droid turbo 2! Works fine on my computer and other devices!!!

Shane Rogers: Won't login. The app won't let me login. I get a password doesn't match error message. I entered my correct password 10 times with no success. I can open my account on my computer with the password.

David M: Perfect Ok...You MUST make a LifeWay account (email/pass) then you'll see WordSearch ID in the accounts. It synchronized all my Deluxe account stuff. The instructions didn't mentioned doing the LifeWay account.

James Sutton: Won't install. The app partially installed. Couldn't access account and my books. So I uninstalled it. Too bad. Sounded good.

Larry Morris: Can't login Was given a Discount code for PC, which I don't use anymore. Was hoping to be able to use this on my Nexus. It won't let me log in, so I really don't know how it works.

Ron Rowell: Not user friendly at all Nothing more than a reader, if you are downloading this thinking it's the same as their PC program, it is nothing close, it's really not much more than a catalog of their books, you can read your purchased bible OR your commentary for example, but cannot link them, this app should never have been named after their good PC software

Dale Peterson: Android version not nearly as good ios Books freeze. Easier to use Web based bible.

Mark Carey: Highlighter doesn't work Please fix the highlighter and the bookmarker. I can bookmark things but I'm not able to access them when I'm ready to continue reading later.

David Kauffman: Be careful Program is not great. Purchased bibles can be nice or junk. If you get junk you can't get a refund. Beware beware beware.

B. G. Springer: After over 16 years, I a little disappointed. 8 OUT 10 TIMES, Wordsearch has stopped working.
