I want to say: I'm going to uninstall this in a mo bcos it takes up valuable phone space. But I came back here to give it a negative - but thoughtful - review. Firstly: I don't think the coder is anyone with a serious interest in magick. I've seen better random magical/character name generators online. Still, whenever I see a site with one on, I always have to try it! I wonder what method the coder is actually using to generate his names? A lot of them are very repetitious. I thought at first it was based on initial letters of names! It doesn't seem that simple: but someone on here says it is to do with last letters. One thing is for sure: small variations in spelling make 0 difference. I wonder also where the app designer is *getting* his magical names, or his ideas for them. Lots of vague but impressive-sounding words, such as "Mystical". Some that are... Inappropriate, too. I daresay a genuine practitioner or seeker would think *very* seriously before using "Cursed" in a magickal name! I think someone's been reading too much Harry Potter... There are also no "power animal" names here, which are very popular in the Craft. Like if I were Starhawk or Raven Grimassi, I wouldn't be using* this* to pick me a new magickal name! But neither would their fans. I know we're all supposed to "see" our names in a vision, or something: but some people just need some (better!) inspiration! ☺ Basically: we need a REAL magickal name generator - or inspirer - written by a true practitioner. Might pay for that! Another major problem: There are indeed *male* Wiccans, and so on. But - this name generator has some - female - gendered words on it: like "Enchantress" - or even Wench (!!!!) but if you type in a *male* first name, it MAKES NO DIFFERENCE! A man called Stephen or whatever can't call himself "Mystic Wench" - numskull!! (And a woman wouldn't want to.) You need to get yourself a name *gender* recognizer. I think you are doing this for mainly Western names: well there are "baby name" books that have this info. There are probably even a few free downloadable ones. Tip to users: Put in the names of famous people "good" and "bad" and amuse yourselves. I put in writers' names among others. Terry Pratchett comes out as Mysterious Charm. James (JRR) Tolkien is Blessed Healer! Nice. (Mind you, Charles Manson's was Blessed Magnetism! 😜) Lots of women's names seem to come out as Mystic Light: Joanne Rowling does; so does Anne Rice! All "C"-starting surnames seem to come out as Wench, for some reason - VERY bad choice, Bug in Code - or should that be Mystic Bug? 😏 So: Hillary Clinton comes out as Mysterious Wench! 😄 But BILL Clinton is Transcendant Wench!!! 😂 (Anyway: sure it's TranscendEnt!) **Gotta get that "wench" out!** 😠 Donald Trump is Magic Healer. Ray Charles is Magnetic Wench!!
