Vianavigo: Your public transport system for Ile-de France--
The Vianavigo application is designed for all transport users in the Île-de-France region, enabling users to easily organise any journey. By gathering information from 74 transport companies in the Île-de-France region, Vianavigo provides to users personalised search parameters, different journey possibilities, and traffic information.
Vianavigo groups together all the different modes of public transport in the Île-de-France region (train, RER, metro, tramway, T 2en, bus and coach) managed by the SNCF, the RATP and private companies grouped together under OPTILE (Professional Organisation of Transportation for Île-de-France).

Search for a journey in one click!
Because mobility requires rapidity, Vianavigo offers you a solution in a minimum of clicks. Select your destination and start your search from the home page: you will be given a choice of several routes from your position, effective immediately.
Your favourite routes and places are also accessed quickly, so you can easily update your journeys .

Journey planner that give you the choice!
Several routes are suggested: choose the most appropriate solution based on several criteria (route time, mode of transport, number of changes, walking time, possible disruptions) or change your parameters (type of route, modes used, via) to personalise your results.
Once you make your choice, you access a page with your step-by-step route based on the timetable, including which lines to use, pedestrian details and any potential disruptions.
You can adjust your travel as you go, avoiding problems like sudden service disruptions or closed stations. You can also find the perfect route for you with the features « Arrive earlier » and « Leave later ».

Towards developers : It is now possible to launch a Vianavigo journey search from another application.
To do so, just create an intent on the itinerary activity (com.applidium.vianavigo.activity.search.AdvancedSearchActivity) with 2 Extra values :
- EXTERNAL_CALL (boolean) set with value true.
- ARRIVAL (string) which value is meant to be the searched destination : a station's name, a city, a street or a monument.

Bonne initiative que l'ajout des fiches horaires, mais la fonctionnalité n'est pas très bien intégrée dans l'appli. On aimerait par exemple accéder directement aux fiches horaires depuis une recherche d'itinéraire ou encore depuis la rubrique des arrêts à proximité. Il est également pénible de de voir massacrer la touche retour pour revenir à l'accueil une fois qu'on est arrivé aux horaires de passage (il faudrait un menu !) Depuis la dernière version, la si pratique option "éviter" plante systématiquement sur Galaxy S2 en 4.0.4.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">A Google User:</span> Fonctionne une fois sur trois L'appli affiche souvent une erreur générique de type "votre recherche n'a pu aboutir" sans plus de détails. Elle demande parfois de préciser l'adresse d'arrivée et fournit des suggestions complètement farfelues (ex: villes de banlieue alors que l'adresse saisie est à Paris). Toutefois, son interface est simple, intuitive et sans pub, et les options de recherche (moyen de transport, vitesse de marche...) sont utiles.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">A Google User:</span> Incapable de trouver le chemin Nanterre - menilmontant! Je m'y suis pris à trois reprises pour chercher cet itinéraire plutôt simple. L'appui n'a rien trouve, et a fini par planter deux fois. En plus. Elle n'a pas de mode paysage (pas pratique sur un galaxy 551 pour utiliser le clavier physique)... Perte de temps. Je desinstalle.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">A Google User:</span> Trafic Manque les informations des perturbations enfin rassemblées en une seule et même appli (rôle du STIF) ...aucun pb sur htc sensation android 4.0<br /><br /><span style="color:red">A Google User:</span> Largement supérieur... Le plus: ce serait d'intégrer Vélib comme un moyen de transport complémentaire: Vélib+RER c'est souvent plus rapide que Bus+marche à pied+RER. A mettre dans les préférences, et vérifier si possible les vélos dispo et les places dispo pour éviter les mauvaises surprises (estimation). Le bonus: une option le moins cher : pour ceux qui sont au ticket à l'unité, ont un abonnement zone 3-4 seulement, etc... : le porte monnaie est aussi une réalité lors des déplacements, en attendant le dézonnage total :-)<br /><br /><span style="color:red">JoseJorge SB:</span> WOW super app Tu te perds à Panam??
