None of my info from last year transferred. The app has been "upgraded" and is no longer user friendly in my opinion. Previous years tax return was not easy to access for last years adjusted income and this used to prefill for you. It wanted a mm/yy format for my debit card expiration yet said it was an invalid date. I tried 3 different cards. I had to pay the 25.00 bank fee to pay the fees from my refund as that was the only choice left to me since it wouldn't accept a card. I have a simple filing, 1 w2 filing single and i normally pay for state only yet it wouldn't allow me to use a simple filing at no cost. I'll be using a different program in the future.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Joe Thyrion:</span> I filed last year with this app, you need a pin to file again online this year, how come you guys can't help me with that TurboTax says if I filed with them last year they could've filed with out any extra hassle, why not you guys making me go figure out this pin it's just annoying.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">scarecrow one:</span> Awful in every way possible. Does not work at all. Constant error messages. Thanks for making it easy TaxSlayer, awesome app!<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Ryan Lockett:</span> Choulda been an app Worked alright except for the flaws in their verification process and the fact that I could continually get all the way to the end only to enter an ID for verification and the cursor wouldn't move off the license # line to let me enter the issue and expiration date. Big waste of time..... Definitely needs some corrections, till then can't recommend to anyone.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">T. Sol:</span> Good but... Room for improvement. FC a lot but could be my junky phone. Loses info if you switch between certain apps, then you gotta redo it. Other tax software is as good or better plus free. Tax Slayer charges for the basic and another $5 for direct deposit. Plus you have to agree to their sharing policies but probably need to with other companies as well. Overall made taxes easier and always gets a good refund.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Justin Reed:</span> Simple Overall, app serves its purpose-file your taxes as painlessly as possible. Only thing I don't like is that TaxSlayer won't tell you the cost of their service until the end. They should be upfront about that IMO. Don't really care for the navigation of the app, wish you had the option to view your 1040 while you were going thru the questionnaire.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Neal Sorensen:</span> Good, but not as many options as the website The app is good, and made it easy to do my return, it also did find a higher refund than other software. The one issue was that I had to access the website in order to find a way to pay for service with a credit card number. The app seems to only give the option to have the Tax Slayer software payment deducted from a refund. One star off for that.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Nicholas Decker:</span> Slayer screwed up this year I used TaxSlayer every year until this year. They asked me personal questions that i don't want to answer and not only that it jeopardizes personal information of my household. I SHOULD NOT NEED SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS OF MY BROTHER OR HIS ROOMMATE to get my Refund. My refund is held hostage until those questions are answered. People from TaxSlayer are idiots. Why did you have to choose this year to screw everything up? I used to love it.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Brent Pettrone:</span> Fast Gets right to the point and isn't hard to navigate. I do wish the camera could focus while taking pictures, but that could just be a problem with my phone. Other than that love it :)<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Kay:</span> Said would be free then charged us to efile I've always used Taxslayer to file my taxes and normally recommend them to everyone but this year 1st time filing with my new spouse according to website to efile should have been free.. Went through entering all info and went to efile and they said they were going to take $13 plus $5 processing fee from our miniscule refund that should have been free to file due to income being below $65,000.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Ron Ronson:</span> Horrible. First it had issues entering any info .. I'd enter it then it would disappear but after 10 or so attempts it worked and I was now done with the very first part. So on to adding a W2 you can either take a photo or manually enter the info .. I chose take a photo and the app crashed tried again and another crash but oh well I'll enter the info manually so I restart the app and click to enter manually and what do you know the app has an error and crashes. .. So this app was literally useless and I'm not going to bother trying 10 times for each and every thing it also scares me to think how many people will get half way through and run into an error. I'm on Android 6.0 with a perfect connection so this is just a poorly configured app that may work on your device but I'd suggest everyone avoids this<br /><br /><span style="color:red">jay longa:</span> Very easy to use but has issues with using camera I really enjoyed how easy this app was to use. However any time I tried to use the camera to scan my ID or refund statement the app crashed. I'm using a Galaxy S6 with the newest OS so I feel it should work.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Gerald Byrnes:</span> Almost okay... ...Until it kicks you out of the app to a sketchy, broken payment site, after the app already got your personal banking info. Waste of my time and effort.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Dan Spurr:</span> Encounters unknown exception when opening and doesn't seem to work at all. I've used these guys for like 10 years on pc with no issue. But the app doesn't work at all.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Ben Smith:</span> Uninstalled I don't even know where to begin. I'm on stock Android 6+. Please don't release apps that aren't production ready. Now I have to give you one star.
