How to install SBB Mobile apk for android
- For Android 4.0 or higher:Please to Settings, look down to Security, and select Unknown sources. Choosing this choice will enable to install apps download from the internet.

SBB Mobile Description
SBB Mobile offers you timetable information in real time. You therefore have your own ticket machine with you in this app, wherever you are.Please note: for customers of SBB Businesstravel there is the "SBB Mobile Business" app.
SBB Mobile is your mobile connection to public transport and offers you the following functions:
Timetable functions:
• Timetable enquiries for national, international and city connections.
• Search for stations, stops and (contact) addresses with GPS support, connections with carriage of bicycles and barrier-free connections.
• Display of connections and travel information (in real time).
• Occupancy forecast.
• "Take me home" function.
• Departure and arrival tables.
• Display of interim stops as well as journey information in real time.
• Map views of start and destination locations.
• Map views of start and destination locations.
• Calendar import and e-mailing of timetable connections.
• Selection of favourites.
Ticket functions:
• Purchasing and display of public transport tickets in Switzerland for up to 8 passengers.
• The offer includes single tickets, fare network tickets, 1-day travelpasses, supersaver tickets, class upgrades and seat reservations for Switzerland.
• Payment can be made by credit card or PostFinance card. The precondition is one-off registration in SBB Ticket Shop (menu item "Tickets").

Data security and authorisations
Why does SBB Mobile require authorisations?
Location.
To use the "take me home" function and display the stops in the vicinity of the current location, the GPS function must be active.
Internet access.
To transmit timetable and ticket request enquiries.
Contact data.
So that you import passengers travelling with you from the address book when you purchase tickets and can select contact addresses as destinations for timetable enquiries.
Calendar and e-mail.
To import timetable information into the calendar, SBB Mobile Business requires writing and reading rights.
Storage.
For the offline functions such as lists of stops, connections (history and favourites) and purchasing tickets.
Deactivate standby mode.
Prevents the smartphone screen being turned off and the device being put on standby before you have received a push notification.
Control vibration alarm.
So that the device can vibrate when a push notification comes in.
Android camera hardware control elements.
To be able to use the integrated QR reader.
What's new in SBB Mobile 5.3
- The timetable suggests additional services for you based on the current operating situation if one of your connections is delayed, cancelled or due to make an unscheduled stop or pass without stopping.- The formation view shows you the final destinations of connecting trains and additional coaches which do not travel the whole route.
- Each push notification also tells you why it was sent (delay, platform alteration, disruption, information, etc.).
- The update fixes various bugs.

Sometimes it won't allow you to buy tickets, almost got fined in a control as it was throwing errors as I was running late! After updating my Galaxy S7 to Nougat the app force closes; that is when I'm on purchased ticket (QR code) and press the phone's home button the app force closes. This is a very useful feature to me as i need to have the ticket on my recent apps for faster access when controll comes. The same problem occurs in other S7s as I have noticed. Please fix it. Also I would like the app to provide an extra protection feature such as my password or fingerprint approval prior to purchasing a ticket (many city ÖVV apps have this feature already). It's impossible to see time off your ticket when you are buying it and change it. It doesn't allow you to buy ticket to a train in a minute. Not a super saver and no way to get a refund or change the date. Don't enter your credit card details, they will rip you off.
