Will be recommending to anyone traveling to Maui. 5 stars. Do not do road to hana without it. Had the right amount of narration, coverage and man the gps was on point! The lava tube on the side of the road was LITERALLY to my right when I was told to look right. :) I have no idea how I would have done without the app. Would definitely recommend, however, turning off data while using. We could not go to the best waterfall in Hawaii as it is now behind a locked gate. We could not go to one of the beaches as the bridge to it is under construction. Easy to listen to, kept us out of trouble and informed. It was awesome, funny, and informative. You would never know to stop at half the places along the way without the guide. Road to Hana needs an update or clarification on Red Sand beach as we couldn't access it and driving to the dead end is ridiculous and overkill as you can barely turn around. I would have missed the entrance and turns for so many attractions had the guide not mentioned it in advance. I loved that it mentioned parking, and walking directions once you park as well. The narrator gave practical advice throughout the trip. However, he should have warned more about Twin Falls, early in the drive. The porta potties were abysmal. Never would have found the lava tube without its very specific guidance--kids loved it. Works great with GPS.
