Had to uninstall which is a shame as I like to listen to a lot of shows on NT while in work.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">:</span> App runs well on my Moto G3. I mostly use it to listen to podcasts. One grumble though: the is no quit option to allow you to edit the app. If you don't finish a podcast, the app icon stays on the top of the screen, so it's eating some of the phones resources, when I'm not even using it.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">jayjay cee:</span> Terrible since they updated it. The app is really, really, really, really crap. The stream just stops after a few seconds. Then it hangs and there is no way to exit. I installed tune in instead and tune in works fine. Tried the update. Completely daft graphic heavy layout. For example if I look for a podcast the list is presented in two columns. Each item is presented as a square block with a large picture of the presenter. The title of each podcast is truncated to one line making it impossible to find anything. This is on a phone with a 6 inch screen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its like trying to listen to someone who stops in the middle of every sentence and the starts the next one. Just show a single column list and don't truncate the title. Its basic common sense. A 5 year old child would understand this. All I get now is five pictures of the presenter with no Idea what each podcast is about. Its completely daft. How can you not get a simple thing like this right. Has nobody in Newstalk taken a look at this app and asked themselves how impossible it is for users to find what they are looking for.? Again i love the Station but hate the app.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Keith Hogarty:</span> Really poor. Stream drops out. Everytime it comes back online you're forced to listen to your sponsor.... same ad every time. Furthermore, lately it seems to give constant news alerts complete with alert tones that match those for text messages which is irritating. Just make the live stream work properly and ditch the news alerts.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Dean Madden:</span> Nothing loading Have removed and reinstalled a few times and the player isn't working and the articles and podcasts won't load. Streaming reliability is very important for people these days. Please fix it!! You can't kill this app if it's buffering. Streaming reliability is terrible. No way to turn off notifications. Horrible full page ads. The ones even Google are pushing back against. Fix the streaming. Fix buffering lockout problem. Have an option to turn off notifications. Player worked perfectly up until about a month ago, A message now appears saying that it is unable to connect to the live stream!! I have uninsulated and reinstalled the app numerous times and it works the first time after the reinstall and then the message reappears!! Clearly the app now has a bug!! CAN SOMEONE AT NEWS TALK PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM<br /><br />
