If your device is lost or stolen, you now have access to a host of features to intuitively lock, locate and recover it. Once the app is installed you can use our Locked & Found online portal to:
• Lock your device to prevent use
• Locate your device on a map
• Assist with recovery - device 'scream' to aid location and picture capture of the finder to encourage return
• Remotely wipe your device of all of your personal data if recovery is not possible
Our recovery team is also available online 24/7/365 to assist. If we find your device we will ship it back to you free of charge.
The Locked & Found Disclaimer: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. But don't worry as we have optimized the app for this so we only turn on GPS when you need it.

When I asked for his name he said "Cole" I than asked for his supervisor, he hung up on me. Everytime I called Geek Squad I spent a minimum of 2 hours trying to get to the "right" department. I even had a Best Buy representative who stayed on line for 1hr of 2 hr call and she finally gave up and said she was sorry but she was so frustrated with them she had to go. Does somebody know the PIN to unlock the phone so I can use my fingerprint to unlock the phone? Suddenly the app cannot be uninstalled off the phone because it now has TOTAL ROOT ACCESS. I called the GeekSquad number, they put me on hold for half an hour then promptly at 5:00PM exactly the system hung up on me. I'm on hold again for another half hour. My phone is now useless because the app locks the phone if I'm not touching it for 5 minutes. I'd give this app 0 stars but this HTML system is unable to do that. After another half hour of being transferred around to Billing, and eventually to Mobile Support, the guy at Mobile Support claimed they don't know how to uninstall apps off mobile devices and I should call GeekSquad. Then he gave me the number that I called that eventually got me to him. I tried to explain to him that I called GeekSquad and got him, he hung up on me. Called GeekSquad again, explained I want the app uninstalled off the phone, and they transferred me to BestBuy Billing in the Phillipines. On the main screen it talks about tech support and this is out dated. 24/7 Support is the newest offering. 2. Annoying u have to download a 2nd app for the auto fit to work. Can this be combined. 3. The other Geek Squad app is nicely redone, but seems weird to have 2 geek squad apps and when they are on your device they both show up as geek squad.....confusing!! APP SUX & CUST SVC NONEXISTANT Purchased to able to locate the whereabouts of my 7 year old who was traveling. I tested the locator at Best Buy with the rep. It worked. I tried it again within 24 hrs (when son out of town) and my login does not work to gain access. Weird b/c I had placed a setting to remember my login and password (no room for error). When I selected 'forgot password" the message I received said my email was not asoc. with an account and to call 1800geeksquad. I spoke to over 15 people split into 2 mult. hour long calls (b/c 'calls were being dropped') Of all 15 , 2 seemed to know about this service (Amaka & Connor). 3 were severely unpleasant people (the rest were un-involved and short-didn't want to be bothered) one rep (Jocelyn) citing that I 'interrupted' her when offering info about iphone (I have an android) so I told her this before she finished- thus interrupting her. She also stated that she is a human being when I told her that I did not mean to interrupt her. (she hung up on me even after I apologized and told her I was just hoping to save her the time because I didn't have an iphone.
