The app worked flawlessly and I was able to connect to the speaker and update it to the latest firmware version. Once updated, I can no longer connect to the speaker with this app. You guys need to fix this ASAP. I spent $300 on this speaker and I can no longer use this app to change settings, connect speakers, or update firmware. Seriously, does anybody at JBL test these apps? Other users are having the same problem!!!

Filip Anakievski: For me it worked ok. It does what it says. I read all the comments and I thought that this is awful app but it turned out that the interface is very well made. I haven't updated the firmware because it came with the latest version but since so many people says it bricks devices then JBL has to look into these problems. Only issue I had is I had to restart the device few times in order to see it as a Bluetooth device. I use JBL Flip 2 and it's amazing.

Kyler Blanco: I'm glad there's a useful companion app for my Flip 3. And to people who are saying that the battery meter jumps from 1 to 4 quickly, it's something called rapid charge. And if you're wondering why your battery\u200bhas lower charge, it's because you don't let it finish charging. Wait for about an hour after the 5th light pops up.

Furiounx F: The app was fine before. But now that it shows me what comes in updates, I'm impressed with this app. I only have one JBL product (Flip 3) but I plan to buy another as I could use stereo modes. The app will really help with JBL Connect for the future.

Gordon Gambrell: It's amazing how a high end name brand like JBL released an app as poor as this one. Completely useless. Either outsource the design for the app or hire replacement engineers. The Pulse 2 update should also include the code so the speaker can be used with SMART TV'S with Bluetooth. Please fix this, and reclaim the JBL name.

Michael Pritchard: An ok'ish app. It updated my new Xtreme no problem. Would desperately like to be able to turn off the start up/shut down tones. They are just too loud!

John Frazer: JBL Charge 3 — "Upgrade Failed" please try the upgrade again. This is all I get when attempting to upgrade the JBL Charge 3 firmware when using an Xperia Z1 compact with Android v5.1. Bit of a worry if it's not going to be fixed. 🤔

Cristi Gandulescu: The app work fine and upgraded my new JBL Charge 3 in about 10min. The app need some more features perhaps to let you control the volume or to have the ability to tune. I give credit to this guys at JBL.

Skyler Clarke: Does what it says but why not include volume and play/pause controls. There's no way to tell exactly what volume level the charge 3 is set to unless you max it out and then go down a little bit. Also let us turn off the boot sounds.

Edilson Cantadore: Stupid app, does not update my two Charge 3. I called JBL support and they didn't even know the app existed, and I had to send them a YouTube video showing how their own app works. After asking me to reset my two brand new Charge 3, their "solution" is to replace both of them. Unbelievable.

Supa J: Less than useless, the app just black screens and my pulse 2 has lost the option to show LED eq. Shows all others fire, rain, stars blah blah....etc. But stopped showing an option for EQ mode. This speaker is box kept. Not even dust gets on it....WTF!! Did the app just decide the EQ LED mode should go?? Sucks. JBL has just lost a customer for life.

J Ortiz: This app does nothing for my JBL Xtreme. Maybe I'm a little spoiled because of my experience with the three UE Booms I have and how good the UE Boom app is. Would have stuck with UE speakers, but they don't make anything as amazing as the Xtreme, so JBL gets a pass there.
