iSmartAlarm Description
The iSmartAlarm Home Security System is a DIY, self-controlled and self-monitored smart home security system with no monthly fees and no contracts required. The iSmartAlarm app allows you to arm, monitor, and disarm your iSmartAlarm Home Security System at any time, from anywhere, in real-time. You can see who is home, when family members leave or return, and the status of every sensor and device.
The iSmartAlarm app manages all of your iSmartAlarm products, including Contact Sensors, Motion Sensors, iCamera (1st Gen), iCamera KEEP, Smart Switch, and more. Multiple homes and systems can be managed easily in the same app.
iSmartAlarm will alert all designated members with SMS text messages*, push notifications, automated phone calls*, and email when the iSmartAlarm Home Security System detects a break-in or unauthorized activity. Users can then choose how to address the situation appropriately - A call can be placed to the police in case of a break-in, or the alarm can be ignored and the system set to Arm again if it is a false alarm. (*Phone call and SMS messages available in US and Canada only).

Doesn't recognize the SD card in my camera. Make sure you have a battery back up for your cube as a power hit will force you to reset all devices and setup the whole system again.

: It's a shame that the newer version 2.0.5 does not work properly with android 7.0 But the previous version 2.0.2 works flawlessly. I have a Galaxy S7 Edge and it's been fine with the 2.0.2. All you have to do is search for the previous version .apk and install it, after the first run it will ask you to update it but DON'T, just close the program and launch it again and it will never ask for this again. The DEVS should provide the older versions in the official forum for us to download and install when this sort of thing happens instead of having us search for them on 3rd party websites. Other than this it's great. Haven't tried it with a camera yet. Need to buy one first. Hope this helps.

Johnny Yuen: This new update has rendered the alarm useless. Even with the so called bug fixes after the last update, I am still not receiving push notifications for the contact sensors. What is going on ismartalarm? This is suppose to protect my home, but your new update has made me lose confidence in your product. I will keep my review as a 1 star until this is fixed.

The Informer: TOO MUCH SPAM!!! I would give it 5 stars if they didn't spam. Your trying to set your alarm, or worse disarm it, and there's an ad for a new camera taking over your screen! Sheeze!!

Joseph Pelletier: The 2.0.2 Android app update has rendered the device useless. What happen to instant push notifications? Even if the device is not armed. Brutal, iNotSoSmartAlarm get you crapola together. This serious issue has prevented me from purchasing any other devices from your product line.

Muhammad Usman: Push notifications Issue resolve by follow steps Make sure the Contact Sensors are enabled to send notifications in the Disarm mode: 1.Go to the Control page 2.Tap Edit, then tap Disarm 3.Tap the sensors you want to receive notifications when they're opened and closed 4.Enable them to send only push notifications. 5.Ensure safety monitor is enabled in the More > Notifications page The settings in the mode control what notifications the system sends out. Safety Monitor will control notifications your account receives.

Robert Pinches: Useless since last update, going on holiday this week and can't rely on this system now! Give me back previous version and then leave it alone.

H Behn: Camera keeps sending sound notifications nearly every minute. I set it to LOW, but it keeps going back to medium. Then it also sends me false sound notifications when disarmed.

Lance Askew: Last update ruined it. It's not good when you get notifications that a door has been opened and closed 3 HOURS after it had physically been closed.

Crystele E.: It was a great basic alarm system before the last update. ... now I get falses alerts day and night . ... not good !!! :(

Gregory Bodenheimer: Much better than it used to be. Would still like to see support for Tasker. IFTTT / Tasker work around seems to be working fairly well at least.

: To many ads and updates latest update rendered while system useless. I will be replacing with old school system with real monitoring

James Biscayne: My alarm has been working well , they also seem to be improving the app on a regular basis.

First Last: The latest "update" adds sales promotions (shows up in the notification drawer when you swipe your screen from the left or tap the menu icon at the top/left corner). *Update...again* The ad is now obnoxious/obtrusive; it loads a full screen ad when you open the app. Why would anyone want that with a system they paid for? A giant "FU" to the developer and iSmartAlarm. Wish I could rate zero stars.

Darren Timmerman: I love my ismart alarm system. Simple to install and is always up to date. They continue to improve the app and system. A company that shows progress like this is one to keep. Keep up the great work ismart!

S R: So after the last firmware update, the ISMART camera is fixed and does detect motion as well but I don't get notifications when I open a door.. no sensor notification anymore. Best alarm system if you don't want alarm company monitoring

joel alejandro: Doesn't let's me create an account always says failed:202. I wish I had read App reviews before spending ;£350 plus

Pieris Pieri: I cannot use the camera, since I don't get the verification code for signing up!!!!!!!

Igor krulikovskiy: Please fix the false notifications.

Andrew K: This is a great basic alarm system. I have been very happy with it. The developers keep it maintained and it does a reliable job of securing my home. I would recommend it definitely. I think some of the negative reviews are from people who have problems with their home network configuration, which can happen with any device. My only suggestion would be to add the ability interface it with a box standard camera system like a Lorex DVR or something along those lines, but it's not a must. A+ from me!!!! Thanks!

Jason Landry: this app is infuriating. the latest updates automatically arms the cameras, which means I now get notations all the time. I can't turn them off, because it won't let me until all cameras firmwares are updated, but one of my cameras refuses to update. so now I can't turn off notifications. that's just idiotic. wish I hadn't wasted my money.

T. Jim: Spot camera is good value. Motion alert the moment camera sees door handle turn. No false alerts, awesome! New update added the much needed arm/disarm option for spot camera, nice!!! The 2-way talk is a little dumb, can't speak and listen at the same time, but I don't use that feature anyway. Love the new app updates!!!

xXx Geek: New Firmware Update made a difference, but I had to reboot the system and refresh the sensors to get everything in work, you can do this from within this application, go to "Devices, The Cube, Advanced Settings", there's also a good troubleshooting guide link at the bottom of slid out sidebar from the left side, then look at the bottom of the page, you will see a shortcut called "Support" that will have a good troubleshooting guide. I see there is a lot of people having issues after the firmware update, I contacted there customer support and they are very responsive and helped me within minutes.

: Latest update broke notifications, and wouldn't let me update my iCamera Keep firmware. Tried to reset everything, but now the camera won't connect to the system. It's stuck at the camera's red light flashing and won't connect to my phone for Wi-Fi access. Super bummed, as I had high hopes for this update. Gonna have to wait for the next one to hopefully fix notifications and my camera.

Mark Hoban: I'm getting really, really aggravating notifications on my Google Pixel that i have doors opening and closing when they aren't. this almost resulted in a call to the police, thinking that my home was getting broken into when it was really just the App behaving BADLY. This all started after the last update (also updated firmware)

Shai Foster: Update made things worse. It won't disarm and\u200b keeps texting, emailing, and calling me about the alarm being triggered because we can't turn it off! We have to unplug it, and now it won't even tell me it's offline anymore.

Z Afana: Very easy to setup and the app is very useful and solid. Whole system is very reliable which is most important. Also it saves you hundreds a year because there's no monthly fee. Love it and recommended to my family and friends.

Vachon Dufour: This Alarm System is always Crashing or bugged Cannot rely on this system, always bugged, setting off false alarms. This morning could not disarm my home or do anything with it from my phone app . Only the remote worked. Totally dissatisfied.
