How to install IBM Events apk for android
- For Android 4.0 or higher:Please to Settings, look down to Security, and select Unknown sources. Choosing this choice will enable to install apps download from the internet.

IBM Events Details
IBM Events is the (mobile/tablet) app for IBM global conferences and events. Hosted on IBM Softlayer, the IBM Events app is your guide at the event, allowing you to:• Build your personal agenda
• Search for sessions by topic, subtopic, role and/or industry
• Sign up for labs
• Download and view session presentations
• Follow speakers, exhibitors, and attendees
• Build your conference social network
• View transportation schedules, news and info
• Navigate the venue with interactive maps and wayfinding using Bluetooth
• Win prizes and climb the conference leaderboard with interactive gaming
• Take sessions and speaker surveys
• View conference session streams live and on demand through IBMGO
The IBM Events app is available offline and stores session, speaker, and exhibitor data on the device, allowing you to view your schedule even without service or on airplane mode.

The app does gives an error with every session added to "My Schedule" even though it does add it to your schedule. Filters are weak. When it notifies you of a session you always get the "IBM Events app had closed" error message.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Cathy Col:</span> Rarely works This app would be quite nice if it worked. However after the first day I was never able to save any events to my schedule, I could never get the QC reader to work ( on Android), and even when I looked at the full schedule it would not show me all the sessions for any given time. It would also be really useful if it allowed you to make your own entries, or integrated with my phone calendar, so that I could see both my sessions and other appointments in a single schedule.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Eric Hickman:</span> Buggy mess For such an important app (not possible to build an agenda on the IBM website) it is a mess. Every time you attempt to add a session, it fails with a generic error message. It does not display what building the session is in, just a room number which you then have to go search the Internet for. Sometimes when clicking on sessions you get the speakers description page, rather than the session. If your screen rotates while looking at the schedule, it resets your scroll back to the beginning. Very frustrated<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Bob Bonhard:</span> Disappointing App This is such a necessary app for InterConnect conference, I'm extremely surprised at how unstable and frustrating it has been to use. I agree with most comments associated with 1-2 star ratings, cannot give more than that. I am running Android 6.0 with 32GB. Problems where my schedule not showing all/any scheduled sessions, adding/deleting sessions, switching between app views, hangs, crashes. (Was happy to hear it was not created by IBM, that would have been even more disappointing!) Please improve!<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Manolo Daza:</span> It's better than others... But many things not working The possibilities of this app are very interesting, but synchronization doesn't work well, scanning QR codes fails all the time, Bluetooth is not doing anything... Already tried uninstalling and installing again but no changes. Awful user experience really.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Josh Westbrook:</span> Better than it used to be.... I can't even get this to run after it crashed yesterday while building my agenda. "IBM events has stopped" while launching. Maps are also pretty bad as they're poor resolution and take an age to load. The social parts of the app lock up if you accept them, meaning you can't accept them if you want to progress to the agenda and other sections.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Jim Knisley:</span> Keeps stopping on error Works for a little while then stops and I have to reboot my phone to get it working. Has done that several times today. It is truly terrible it is always crashing on me and I have downloaded it at least 6 times and it has too many glitches to count.
