How to setup HTC Car apk for android
- For Android 4.0 or higher:Please to Settings, look down to Security, and select Unknown sources. Choosing this choice will enable to install apps download from the internet.
- For devices running on lower Android 4.0:
Please go to Settings - open the Applications option, and select Unknown sources, click OK on the popup alert.

HTC Car gives you a smooth experience with clear controls, so you can stay connected without looking away from the road. In car mode, you’ll find options for navigation, phone calls, music and more. To use your voice to control your phone, just tap the screen with three fingers or select “Speak.”In the Navigation menu, you can search for a destination or nearby point of interest, look up previous searches and get directions to upcoming events in your Calendar. Connect your phone to your car’s stereo system and control playback from the Music menu. To make a call, open the Dialer or People menu. You can also opt to have incoming calls and new messages read out loud while you drive.

It's a professional one click solution to make the phone easy-to-use and safer when driving, however it needs the pull down menu from top of the screen to control the music whilst still running the GPS software instead of exiting to main menu to change music. The stock Android controls should still be accessible from the top of the screen, also an option to change the clock design style and colours. Do this and it will be 5 stars!
