Just Badhon: Love it

Matthew Von Trapp: Sign in every time the App opens! If there is a push notification good luck when you tap on it to take you to the subject of the notification... Instead you're routed through a login page and by default the app takes you to an open book or something else... Push notification is no where to be found. To Login every time you access the app is the sign of a bad app... It's not a bank account for crying out loud.

Yulia Moody: I love the quote section of this app the most. The General Authorities of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints always know what to say, and when to say it. I love that you can change the fonts and colors as well.

Tom Castleton: Not very funtional. Always seems to have bugs. You can get most of these ebooks, if not all, on Amazon, first a lower price and easier to use.

Aj Bate: The app is decent, but I'd like to see some improvements. It would be very nice to have an offline mode, where you don't have to login all the time. I often have to login after sending a simple text message or not using the app for a few minutes. I recommend having the option of downloading purchased ebooks, etc., to a device so you can use them offline and only need to sign in once a week, or even once a month, to check for updates or sync new purchases. Sometimes, I don't have an Internet connection and am unable to read ebooks until I get a connection again.

Glenn Williamson: You say you can look up the definitions of words, but it does not work. Also, most of the times I can't access the notes page. When it does take me to it I can't go back to my reading. I have to exit dB and then go back to my book. Pages don't turn smoothly .

Tim & Heather Ogden: Vibration Don't like the vibration on every page turn. Why this feature and how do I disable it?

Nathan McClellan: The audiobook player needs a speed control.

Anthony Cool: The app always states it has no Internet connection, so I can't download my books anymore, etc. Please fix!

Hussain Shah: It is OK with my pleasure

Joe Mark Madrid: Great source of wisdom

Yvonne Russell: Wish for original app This is the second time an update in the app has resulted in me having to Uninstall and reinstall the app on my phone in order to even be able to access the new books I have purchased - I've tried syncing twice and after 15 - 30 minutes it is still "syncing". AND the app freezes or crashes often with this most recent update. I'm on a Samsung Galaxy 6.

Jeff Zaugg: Thanks for the update! Love the new update! Please consider a sleep timer in future updates. Thanks!!!

Teri Archer: Recent update ☆ Used to be a good app about 3 versions ago, and still is when it loads properly. Now it crashes frequently, or just spins its wheels and doesn't open. Sort order by title wouldn't hold after app closed. Frustrated. Uninstalled app. ☆☆ Reinstalled app. Sort order stayed. Hoping for best. ☆ Still crashing. Sort order reverts to original app default setting. ☆ App continues to open to the Search page and I'm unable to navigate to any other areas of the app.

Robert Jeffrey: Crashes Just moved to Android from ios and this version of the app is terrible in comparison. Crashes most times i open it. Often doesn't keep my place in the book i was reading which when your reading large books is extremely frustrating. Also why is there no indicator for pages remaining in section on this version? That is very helpful and the lack of such is ridiculous. Changed to one star as everyday i end up losing my place in my book. I guess i could do a bookmark daily but come on how hard is it to cache it.

Nicole King: Love the quotes but.... I try and share quotes daily to my Facebook but now with the new create a meme function the app will not allow me to share quotes. When I click cancel it closes when I click share nothing at all!! Could have 5 stars if I could share the quotes! After a week I still can't share quotes on social media! Very disappointed!!

Tammy Harker: Ebooks don't download The book I downloaded played well for a couple chapters, then completely stopped playing. Must be a problem downloading.

Nikolai Trusov: Lots of issues. Latest one - it stuck in Search - I can't navigate away from it. 'Back' from search or reading just exits the app. Daily quote notification, when clicked, opens the app not to quote, but to the book that was read.

Trish Kobialka: Bookshelf will not stay open. Not even for a minute. I just want access to my books! :( Running on android galaxy s4.

Barbara DeLaughter: Updated db Nice way to control library when it works but hate it freezing on me sometimes for days at a time.

Jean Harnden: Not sharing I try to share the quote, but it does nothing

Richard Mundell: Easy to navigate and bookmark I really enjoy it!

Stewart Rodgers: Well.... It works

Ryan Russell: Learn to use the app Those complaining about not being able to turn off the notifications. There's a way to do that. In quotes vault go to today's quote and then the setting gear icon. Then you can turn of notifications or adjust frequency and timing. For those that say the app cuts things up. Open your book, double tap on the page then go to the settings gear icon, and then switch to scroll mode. An app is not bad if you don't take the time to learn how to use it. I will give you the fact the this could be on the faq page.

Lexi Running: Lousy Every time I go into the app, it will bring up the last audiobook that I listened to. When I try to go back to get into another book, it won't do anything! I have to delete the app and then add it back in order for me to go to a different book. Frustrating! My android operating system is up to date! So don't tell me it's because of that!

Josh Hunsaker: Won't play my audiobooks from cloud I purchased two different audiobooks and I couldn't get either of them to start playing. They showed some kind of pizza slice icon as if something was downloading, but the pizza slice never grew, and the audio never started playing. All of this while connected to Wifi with plenty of bandwidth. Other annoyances include: No settings menu at all, slow to open, slow in general, unwanted notifications, and the whole app crashing whenever the internet connection drops out. Call me when you roll out 5.0

Jennifer Muster: Good but could use some help. I would give this 5 stars if it allowed you to pause and play from the notification area. I hate that I have to unlock my phone open the app, wait for it to log in click on the book then pause.

Jaron Briggs: Don't use this. Use Kindle Seriously! My wife was so nice and decided to drop into a Deserted Book to get me a book. She saw the cheaper option was an eBook. So they sold her on using this app. She setup an account for me and bought the book. Word to the wise, use the app a bit before you buy a book in it. The functional is clunky at best. The buttons are slow to respond. The book images are tiny if they are included. The page turns have to buzz your phone with haptic feedback. if you back out and back into a book, the book reformats

David Porter: Bad update Used to be a pretty good app. The last update really messed it up. Annotations doesn't work right, can't find bookmarks and the don't show on the page etc. Used to use it every day, not much now

Bonnie Nielsen: What's up with this? I was barely able to understand how to use this app and now I can't navigate it at all. I spent over $100 on ebooks and I feel like I wasted my money. If this does not improve, I'll uninstall it and demand a refund.

Kimberly Petersen: Can't even log in I just downloaded the app and am excited to use it, but it keeps timing out while I try to log in. Super annoying. Please fix.

Marc Harrison: Crashes all the time. I can't read the books I purchased. The books are good but the app sucks.

Ed Felt: Support/bookmarks I can't find support info on the app so I guess I'll post here. Bookmarks don't work. I see a red bookmark on the page but can't find it in any menus (including the two menus provided for bookmarks).

Alan Kindall: OK app First I can't stop or play from my lock screen. 2nd I can't download to an SD card. Third when I download a book it fills up my phone memory. Can I just play the book from the cloud? I can't see how to do that.

John Holden: Too slow stop worrying about DRM and let GOD take care of it. Make the app run better its to frustrating to use Needs to be optimized the app is very sluggish

Marci Call: This new update is bad. My app used to work great, it is slow and unreliable now.

: Every time I exit from the spiritual thought it automatically brings up a blank screen and I can't do anything except to uninstall the app and reinstall again

Greg Slater: Notifications I see no where that I can turn off notifications. Sorry but 1 star until that gets fixed

Rob Johnson: Great update Better UI, single-tap downloads and discover page is awesome for finding new and free content.

James Smith: This app is an improvement over the previous version, but not by much. The interface is horrible, unintuitive and slow. Even if it just imitated Amazon's page-turning kind of interface, it'd be tons better. If this app was better I wouldn't really moan about the inability to download ePub versions of the books for use on other readers. Access to the Deseret Book library is great, but this app leaves much to be desired. The developers insist in other places that they need to do it in order to add new features like "linking to the Scriptures" and I would imagine some of the embedded YouTube videos, but really are those that necessary? I can look things up in the scriptures myself quite easily, and I've read Kindle books with YouTube URLs in them quite happily without having them embedded in the app. Pro tip: If you have a rooted device, you can convert these eBooks to ePubs easily enough. True, you lose some of these "features", but for the most part I don't think they're that necessary anyway.
