It was easy enough to set up and it integrates seamlessly with most apps and devices. With a few other apps Boxcryptor needs manual launch beforehand so the other app can locate its data in decrypted state.

peter D: Product good to be I have been using it since few months now. It performed better on Windows than on Mac. Ongoing issues that I manage to fix here and there, so what am saying it's not for the non technical. Support are very supportive but support can never be fast enough. Reason saying so when the problem happens you are locked out of your data, you have to email and wait! I guess it's a good try and I hope they keep fixing the product. I have subscribed to it for a year and will give it a shot.

James Smith: Awesome Great app! Also it should have the option to auto upload existing media like in onedrive (rather than new camera shots only)

Shafi Smaili: Bugs It takes ages decrypting photos in Google Drive, with spinners bordering on a minute. The app does not work with a local account. When I try to open local account with already existing key file, the app doesn't offer the login window. It always jumps back to the default online account login window. It's annoying as this behaviour is still there since more than a year ! I'm not able to open important locally saved and encrypted files. Please fix it now - otherwise I need to uninstall the app for ever and start looking for another app which supports local accounts !

Colledun: Been using Boxcryptor Classic for years and really like it. So I upgraded to the Unlimited Personal paid version for $48/year to help support the product. So far found one issue on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 tablet running Android 4.4.2. When I start the app and then try to scroll through my folders immediately after starting the app, the app will crash. If I wait several seconds, apparently for things to download from the cloud, then I can scroll through my folders without the app crashing.

David Leese: Works as advertised I switched from Cloudfogger to Boxcryptor about 6 months ago. Had to re-install after a Google Drive update, but otherwise trouble-free. I've been able to open and edit encrypted files on my Android phone and my Windows 10 PC.

Revvxz: Can't go to parent folder If I go inside a folder in my dropbox and try to exit out of it, it will not let me, it just says "Operation could not be completed successfully". Reinstalling works for like a day then I have the issue then. Can't even move folders out of folders anymore because of it!

: Battery Drain I love the concept, however there is really no justifiable reason that your app should be draining my battery as much as it does. Uninstalled until the battery drain is addressed.

: Does not work with Google Drive Icon sends me directly into Google Drive, but gives no way to create or specify an encrypted directory. Useless. Hire a programmer.

Igor Bagayev: Error on decryption Getting "operation could not be completed successfully" error when trying to open the encrypted file. Feel free to contact me, if I can help solving this issue.

Mike Butler: Update is poor I've been using boxcrypter for over a year without issues. Recent updates have made it more unstable. The app refuses to go back to a former open page and refuses to close on my Nexus 6 with error messages and consequent sync issues that follow. As a result I have lost several files which have disappeared from my computer drive. Why fix something that didn't need fixing?
