If UI buttons were at the bottom (portrait mode) of the screen with the shutter activated with the right thumb, it would be a huge improvement. Also, most people would expect the shutter button below the viewfinder as it is more natural.

Muhammad Nur Hidayat Yasuyoshi Yatsuko: Works as expected To people who ask for option to save locally, actually this app generated all three: image, HTML and plain text in a folder called AsciiCam in internal storage when you take image with it, so the option is not needed...

Jay Gatsby: Almost perfect It's an awesome idea for an app. Really cool! Just wish the shutter button was on the right like in every single other camera app the shutter button is on the right lol.

alex demoes: It would be nice to see a few more modes, i want to be able to send my ASCII pictures on whatsapp, but that would need to be only black text instead of black and white. Not only that but it would also need to be a certain length to fit.

nick loss: great for B&W images! Sometimes color accuracy of the outputted ASCII images are a little off; but not terribly off.. it's worth a go!

Isaias Corrales: Works It works pretty well (and so do the share options), only issue is that with sharing as HTML, there are missing characters which results in a slightly choppy (HTML) picture. And for those wanting to save locally (on device), you can share with a cloud service (such as Google Drive) and then download it 👍

Daniel Ziegler: Almost perfect Shutter button is right in front of the inner camera, making selfies nearly impossible. Another major gripe I have is that it lacks a portrait mode, and the UI doesn't move to match the camera orientation. I'd like to be able to take a vertical picture without all the characters rotated.

Xadrov ZRUTHALKE: Nice camera app.much liking it. But however, images saved still upside down... Also when appearing it's totally shown on separate as without any seen evidence of known new folder.

caleb pizza: Keeps crashing I really like it, but it doesn't seem to work. It worked the first time, but after that it just crashed. I tried reinstalling it, but it still doesn't seem to work.

Jeff Williamson: Pretty sweet! I love that there's a real time preview, and that it actually generates plain text and html output. Being able to convert other pictures is icing on the cake. I wish the shutter button could be moved and that it could be used in portrait. Otherwise perfect!

Corbin List: Pro tip If you install ES File Explorer you'll get the option to save pictures directly to your device, just a cool thing I found

Jonathan Cerqueira: Lacks some features It could use an option to save images locally. My s6 also makes strange noises during use.

Connor Turner: Great concept, but falls short. Can't save locally, and none of the "share" options work, meaning there's no way for me to send it to anyone.

: Great app, but needs a better UI. The layout is kinda annoying and you can't make portrait images. A record feature would also be nice, since whenever I want ASCII videos I need to record the entire screen.

Andrew Prusinowski: Dear coder; I dreamt of making this app, and then found yours. Thanks <3

William Stegemann: Cool app, but can't use front facing camera! Shutter button is right in front of the lens. Please fix!

Wolf Schweitzer: shutter button directly next to front camera impossible to take selfie

: Good, but At the end of the day it's just a good camera filther. It would be cool if you could copy the ascii from the black and white

Ashley Boers: Kinda cool Fun to mess around with. Someone at Google should just write this guy a cheque, could be a great addition to the standard camera app.

L0rd Fgt: The shutter button Why the hell would you out the shutter button right by where EVERY PHONES forward facing camera is? Move the button and I'll give you 5 just because cool asf

edward bond: Wow This app is brilliant and doesn't ask for loads of unnecessary permissions. Please make a video app.

Eric Dann: Great software! Keep up the good work.

WIPocket, The WIZzard: Good but The HTML doesnt show title because the tag starts with the closing part

Pond John: Good idea Good idea to bring old style ASCII photo into mobile gen. For full colour mode , looks one char has more than 1 colour, is it possible to limit it to one chat one colour, which is full colour?

Stijn van den Broek: Trick Use █ for pixel camera! sadly doesnt work for b&w for me :(

Robert Bergsman: Very clever.! App does what it claims to do.

maen baker: Pretty awesome Finally an app with a new concept.

Toby Forbes: A bit of fun, no more

Ray Luo: Works! Looks cool! I am yet to find some creative way to use the picture though. :)

Micah Goldstein: Cool, but needs video!

BigJB 21: FIX UI Capture button is right next to the camera

Dave Gallop: Nice idea but You can't save picture or text. You can only 'share' them???

ahmed hosam zaghloul: UI is not so good

Dave Sacerdote: Can't save pix locally... ...
